regarding the holy Quran verse and the sahih Muslim Hadith about the prophets farewell ceremony (which many progressives accept), it was discussed the ways the husband can discipline the wife … but does this also apply to a wife ? Like can the wife do this to the husband if the husband was mistreating her ? And if not, what can a wife do if the husband mistreats (instead of asking for divorce of course)

If not, then this is a problem. If only the husband is given the authority to discipline then this means Islam compares women to children, rendering them to be less mature, less intelligent emotionally and overall. This is objectively false since both genders have roughly the same intelligence on average as proven by many studies…..

If I criticize someone for wanting to marry a minor (even if they hit puberty) like a 13 year old would that be kufr and considered an indirect insult to the prophet ? I worry about this often because someone at that age is 99% not ready for marriage due to modern burdens like school and delayed mental maturity which didn’t exist at the time of the prophet

so I view such marriages as wrong and illegal yet I don’t wanna commit kufr by accident
