For the Enbies

Hello my fellow gender yeeters, im here to say that youre strong for dealing with the stress and dysphoria that periods bring. Im, trying to tell myself the same, but i struggle with it. Mine arent bad (but the stress can def make them heavier making it a self feeding cycle)

So be kind to yourself, affirm yourself as a warrior perhaps fighting inner demons. 💪

And to the gals, thank you for making space for us here too. 🧡

Obi Assistance

Photo included for traction (and so proper colors can be found) but ive been on an seemingly impossible hunt for a spider web patterned obi, idealy in a black or dark red. I figured the users here may have better sources for finding such a specific design so any help for being pointed in the right direction to be able to wear this would be deeply appreciated!

Ice Pick Headaches

New here, new to realizing i have migranes and plan to bring it up with the neurologist I'm seeing for other reasons

Ive managed to keep my migranes at bay by not eating trigger foods. However, FUCKIN, im pretty sure these occasional bouts of random jabs or pulses i get in the forhead are like, ice pick headaches?? I hate them???? Had some mild panic and came here too see what the consensus was. So im good now and trying to not move as quickly now to alleviate but talk about freaky.

As for how one doesnt realize they have migranes i think mine are silent and potentially vestibular. I get all the fixings, but no headache. I guess ill find out if theyre related to whats causing my other problems and if theyll return to the void from where they came, if not well at least im in good company 😅

B12 Update

Ended up at the ER because my PCP told me to do so as they couldnt get me in until next week. Both CBC tests they did an metabolic panel seems to me mostly medical jargon listed as groups (so like it lists protiens as good)

The blood counts showed no evidence of anemia of any kind, electrolyte were good, and I'm back to square one but with a neurologist appointment in the works.

All of the nurses were really cool and understanding, i was told to keep up with the magnesium though. So it seems they actually know how useful a little bit of supplementation can be for people.

I do still plan to get magnesium and b12 specific tests if possible at my PCP just so i can have my own peace of mind and figure out how to go forward for fixing my nutrition because like, its probably jank regardless

But as of now, im diagnosed with a Functional Movement Disorder. Though considering my childhood, i can certainly believe long term nerve damage. I wasnt told, oh you might just be anxious, or its just stress it was "we havent seen this before, and were going to get you help."

Maybe ill be back here, maybe i wont. But im getting somewhere at least.

Thank You for such a well documented and moderated subreddit. And in case i dont see you again, good morning, good evening, and good night.

Thank You

Its this forum that is why ill be going to a doctor to talk about what im pretty sure after reading through your lovely posts that i may have a b12 deficiency. I remember getting tremors back in october, dont remember what i did to fix it, i think i started with magnesium (and i still supplement it because i dont get it in my diet and it helps my adhd ass sleep)

I was doing well for awhile, had some mild brain fog and the occasional fumble, some occasional hand tingles but didnt think too much of it

However as of last month i had another episode of tremors, shortness of breath, fatigue, and that went away for a few weeks as i took some multivitamins. And these last few days and during my cycle no less >:b the tremors were back. The brain fog, the nausea, a creeping numb/cold up and down my back.

I was sick of saying "eh ill be fine" and am pushing my appointment up sooner, if not will visit one of the sick clinics i trust and i wont leave until i get somewhere.

Ill likely be back, but i just wanted to say this forum is pushing me in the right direction and im catching it far sooner than some might. And maybe youll have a new forum buddy because taking my b12 supplement basically yeeted my symptoms back into the void and im over here like, "huh, well shit."

So thank you for being here, having well written information, things to ask for. Its been really helpful and im feeling confident to get help and less alone in the world right now.

Tremors

To start, 26F, Diabetes, Liver and Thyroid Issues have been ruled out and i do have an appointment set up with a doctor but i want to pick your brains

So every so many months i end up with at least two back to back days where i have a tremor of varying intensity that exists in the trunk and torso. It usually eases up in 5-30 minutes and ive found that b12 and magnesium helps

Im aware of it, and theres no mental changes aside from maybe some slight brain fog, i can breathe, and i can navigate without assistance. Like, as long as the tremors arent strong enough to effect my hands, i can in theory cook myself something.

My wonder is if i might have a malabsorption issue as an adult or am struggling to feed myself right, leading to a mineral deficiency

The other. Is that up until last year i was medicated for adhd, and for 7 of those 18 years, i was medicated for depression that ended up being generated BY said adhd meds. I am no longer medicated because my body cannot process most of what is available for treatment. And for the most part, ive been doing so well. So these tremors took me out of left feild because ive always been healthy and feeling content with life. Ive never had an issue like this before, and i dont think my birth family ever did either but i no longer have contact to ask.

If anything i feel a bit more restless and dissatisfied around the time i get these tremors

Could it be because i have time blindness im not eating right anymore?

Is it perhaps my nervous system unsure how to regulate itself because from childhood it was chemically regulated?

Im curious to see what you guys think. Ive been compiling my thoughts and symptoms for my doctors appointment too, but if i cant get it moved to this month, its in august because i thought i got this under wraps and it returned =/

First Leather Project

Finally was able to make my first project, and its a strap to the belt I designed and asked my spouse to make me last year. Its honestly not a huge learning curve, ive watched him work and understood a lot of the basics. Just never had a chance to sit down and be "let loose" until tonight. Im looking forward to learning more so i can get into more complex projects. But doing small "bread and butter" kind of crafts for now is fine by me 😁

Pins!

Had drawn these pins and got a super helpful shop to burn them for me. I then made the tabard and the brooch. For the brooch i used some steel wire, locking pin backs and part of a vintage costume chain belt!
