Artti T10

Letshuoer s12 (OG)

Kefine Klanar

Kefine Delci AE

Simgot EA500LM

Or if you have something that would outperform these that is welcomed as well

Thinking of buying Truthhear Hexa or pure to listen flacs. Have some questions...

  1. On android (mine is galaxy s24 plus), I've learnt that the device always resamples while playing. Unfortunately my preferred players (ie musicolet and Jett audio) doesn't have the ability to bypass. Is this a big issue for CD quality flacs?
  2. I've a Ugreen dac from their official store which apparently supports till hi-res. My understanding is 16 bit is below that range. Do I need a separate dongle?
  3. Any recommendation which one to get between pure or hexa? Or something under 100$?
  4. I am basshead in a sense i like a punch but not too much that takes away clarity. My current one is a wireless buds2 pro. The reason i dont like buds2 pro is it sounds a bit mushy to me (maybe placebo, i can't tell)

budget $100, US

What IEM will be an upgrade over galaxy buds2 pro without breaking banks?

Budget: 50-100

Preference: Basshead but punchy, and trebble not too harsh

It's for my flac collection. Device is iPhone and Android flagships

I don't keep entire FLAC album. Instead the tracks I like. So is there any issue If I change album name to all Linkin Park tracks to "Linkin Park" instead of "Meteora"? I meant if let's say I use something like Navidrom or Plex in future

Struggling to assess shoe size

How do you assess which size to buy (US mens). My feet is 9 inch long from ankle to toe. So size charts say my shoe size is US 5.5-6. But size 8.5 (multiple brand) fits as in if I push legs all the way forward (nails touching front of shoe), i can snugly fit one finger between ankle and back of shoe

Both Butwarden and ProtonPass has an option to use Pin (ie: 736637) for browser extension. Is the underlying implementation same for both? (For windows)

I've switched to Proton pass but want to go back to Bitwarden. Someone told me the way Proton pass implements the pin is more secured. It had me torned.

Does embedding LRC files corrupt Flac? Is there any way to embed safely? Platform is windows.

I will keep the LRC as a backup. But want to declutter the album folders by removing the LRC files

Is this a fake flac or poorly mastered flac? Is there any way to tell? I bought it from Qobuz for $0.99 to test. Ran with VerifAIAudio (dunno how reliable that is) which says shelf cutoff at 14.3 KHz.

▲ 53 r/SpotiFLAC+1 crossposts

Same track. 16-bit flac both. Left one fetched from Qobuz, right one from tidal. Is this normal? Is the one from Tidal better?

u/ClockEnd_Chorus — 1 month ago

For Spotiflac, does Tidal vs Qobuz matter? Tidal afaik uses m4a wrapper and Qobuz streams Flac directly

Sorry I am not savvy about this. While downloading flacs I can see the tidal files are "[track_name].flac.m4a.tmp" while the file is being downloaded. After downloading it's flac. So wondering if it corrupts or degrades quality

Flac songs are downloaded as "[song_name].flac.m4a.tmp" while in the process of downloading. But after downloading it shows flac. Does that mean these are not true lossless flac?
