I haven't seen this level of crowds in a long time. We're so back! They actually had to close faregate entrances due to platform overcrowding.

July 1 - Levi's Review - USA v BIH

First off, I wanted to say to Bosnia & Herzegovina fans, you guys were fantastic and so lively throughout the entire game even when you were losing. Made us American fans look tired in comparison. (Note: I get that we don't have anywhere the same chanting/singing stadium culture other countries have).

Observations:

  • The US needs to come up with a better chant than U.S.A. on repeat. What the answer is though, I don't know.
  • The Simpsons meme about soccer, although very exaggerated, can feel true sometimes LOL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=442NF5cZhyc (Note: all pro sports have boring/annoying elements to them, nothing is perfect.)
  • Levi's Stadium honestly... is a disappointment. We were on the sun side so we were just baking in the sun. Luckily the temp was nearly perfect and there was a breeze. Shame on 49ers ownership for giving us such a boring and uninspired stadium that is uncomfortable. How this stadium hosted multiple Super Bowls is beyond me. The food options were meh.

Overall though, I had a great time. The atmosphere was electric. Transportation options were bad but not godawful. I came from Milpitas VTA. There was a long walk from Lick Mill to the entry as we had to go over the bridge and around to enter gates A, B, and C.

I'm glad the Bay Area had 1 WC game with the US playing. We were kind of screwed on the overall draw.

Unable to get 2-Factor Verification Code - Tech Support doesn't seem to know how to help.

I am the primary on my ATT family account. Whenever I log in, the website asks for verification code but it never sends. It works to other phones on my account, just not mine; however, I do not live with my family so it's not so easy to get sometimes. It won't even give me the option to have code sent to my e-mail.

I called ATT Tech Support, which is a pain to even get through because there doesn't seem like a direct way to get to them via phone. They tried several troubleshooting steps, including resetting my phone network via settings and other things on their end.

Anyone have any tips on what might be causing the issue?

When I try to log-in on my computer browser (Windows 11, Chrome and Firefox) I do not have adblock or any vpn active.

Any help would be appreciated!

Update: Samsung T5 Evo 8TB - Now showing up as "Unallocated" Disk Management

Hi just wanted to give an update. Not 100% back in business just yet but working toward it!

I think I'm doing OK for it being my first time!

Recap:

  • 8TB Samsung External SSD began showing as "unallocated"
  • I used DMDE to create a sector-by-sector image onto another external drive of the same size. It returned with no errors or bad sectors. Took just over 3 days.
  • I scanned the image using DMDE and it appears all is OK?

I was trying to research what to do next but from how I am understanding it, I need to get yet another drive that do a perform a recovery from the drive that has the image?

I went ahead and just paid DMDE for a personal license.

Installment Credits Issue - It's showing up on the website but not on the bill.

I don't know why I didn't check this sooner but I'm pretty anxious about it...

A few months ago, my sister traded in her iPhone for a new one at Best Buy.

On AT&T's website, when I go on the part of her phone account where it shows the "Payment Schedule," since we activated her new phone, the payments show as "Processed."

  • Installment: $41.67
  • Trade-in Credit: $27.78
  • Total: $13.89

This made sense to me for the trade in promotion at the time.

When I look at the past several bills, all I see is an installment payment but no trade-in credit. So for months, I thought that the trade-in went through and we're just rolling along.

I currently have an installment credit promo on my line and it's showing up in the bill.

Stupid me for not analyzing the bill regularly.

Other than calling them, any tips on what I should do? Anyone run into the same issue?

Samsung T5 Evo 8TB - Now showing up as "Unallocated" Disk Management

Ugh this is frustrating. It's a very pretty new drive and I think it's failed on me.

System: Windows 11

Things I've tried:

  • Different ports/cable
  • Different computer

When I plug it in, Windows makes the sound. Going into Disk Management, it's now showing as "Unallocated."

I have a backup drive but, unfortunately, I've neglected to sync it for well over a month.

I saw from a year ago, someone had something similar. I'm not tech savvy in this sense but here is what I have...

OS : Windows 11 Pro 25H2 [10.0 Build 26200] (x64)

2X Points Booking Rate + Aspire Card | How will they calculate?

I see there is a 2X Points booking option.

I am assuming that this is on the base rate of being a Diamond at 20pts/$1 so does that mean it will be 40pts/$1 plus the 14pts/$1 Aspire bonus; therefore 54pts/$1?

Or is it the general member base rate that's 2x (20x + 10x + 14x) totaling a 44pts/$1 earn rate?

Second question... assuming either, is it really worth it?

Bird Nest - How to Remove/Prevent?

After 40 years, birds have started to become a nuisance.

On my 2-level residence, right underneath the lip of the roof, there was a light fixture where,after 40 years, a bird decided to build a nest. I didn't notice until it was too late and the birds laid and hatched eggs.

They finally left so I took down the empty nest and the light fixture.

I thought I was done but now, apparently, birds seem to be trying to set up a nest by a vent(?) that was adjacent to the removed light fixture.

Their poop looks is different so I'm not sure if it's even the same birds but either way, they are constantly shitting all over my car daily.

Any advice?

https://imgur.com/a/rQLr6e1 - Picture of the vent. When I removed the light fixture, I didn't notice any holes or place where they can set up a nest on that vent since it's practically flush with the surrounding wall.

I feel like I should also post this to r/fuckyouinparticular

So weird how birds have never put in a nest there for this long.
