This is only a quarter of my collection. The rest is in storage due to low space. I've been slowly going through everything and putting my favorites on display. Eventually I'd like to have a nice bookshelf just for my books.
They're kinda organized by genre and but mostly size.

Got this used book called 'Papa Guide Book'. The previous owner was also learning Japanese so it's peppered with notes in English (very helpful). However this one is written in Japanese. I recognize the kanji but don't know them. Can anyone help please?
Also, I highly recommend this book. It's very informative and good for Japanese practice.

I can't figure it out for the life of me. My best guess is it's either a font I'm unfamiliar with or AI crap.

Y'all may remember my first post from 35days ago (https://www.reddit.com/r/antkeeping/s/K02TzGwj1f) where I asked about a deformed pupa in my queen's test tube. This is my first ever ant queen. Well today I checked on her and the pupa is gone and a newly hatched worker is keeping her company! I'm so happy for her and her daughter. I was really worried.
Edit: I named the queen Judith by the way.
I'm new to bookbinding and don't have the proper materials so it's very rough but better than I thought it would be. I've already bound 2 mangas but was too scared to put covers on them.
I used 12 sheets of recycled 8.5"x11" paper (I know I folded against the grain) in signitures of 4. The covers are made of 2 sheets of construction paper glued together with mod podge. The spine is covered with a strip of construction paper. It was glued to the spine but came off as I worked. My binding is also a little loose this time around. I did use less wax on my thread than in the past.
Brushing up on my small kana and saw this.
So my mom drove 39 miles mostly highway today, the temperature was normal the whole time and when the car was turned off. About 2 hours later she tried starting it and it wouldnt even crank and the dash said too hot. The temp gauge was also all the way to 'H'. We checked the oil and coolant and all was well. She literally just got an oil change today. Told her to crank it again and it did start but still said it was too hot and the gauge was still at max. The engine bay didn't feel hotter than normal.
I'm thinking it'd a faulty sensor but idk anything about car computers. Can anyone help me diagnose this? She barely afforded the oil change.
Edit: I just tested the battery with my multimeter and its good. During the test the car as read normal temps and acted fine. She drove it a couple minutes up the road and back and it's still fine. I'm almost certain it's a fairly sensor now but still not 100%.
It's been a few years since I used any but I ran out of my estradiol pills (insurance) and they're all I have. They're 2/3 years old but don't have an exp date (I know they're prolly not as effective though).
When I used them before I put them on my arms but my body always had trouble absorbing it from there. What's the best place to put them?
I struggle with concerts for medical reasons and I only just found out she's performing in Chicago. It looks like a smaller venue though so I pulled trigger and I'm going with my mom. She's not really a fan of Japanese music but she likes some of Ado's stuff (and has the driver's license haha). I can't wait!
Haven't played Minecraft in a few months. Got on my PS5 And noticed then whenever I crest this hill the horizon turns blue. Every time. I swear that's new. Is it a render glitch? I thought my GPU was dying at first.
It seems like deck sizes are trending upwards in street and vert the last several years so I'm curious what everyone rides. I've rode everything from 7" to 10" and these 8.5" are my fav size (Size 9-10US women's). I like my boards to feel like landboats that just cruise across the ground.
My Xbox One S died on me and I had a large library of physical games. RDR2 is one of these games, and when I went to play it on my boyfriend's Series S (without him signed in) it let me play the game and even ported my save data from the cloud.
Normally I can't play his games without his account logged in. Does this mean I can play all my games on a Series S? I'm confused.
Edit: I know Series S has no disc drive. I'm asking if I *own* the disc, if I can play the digital.
I've found this queen 1-1.5 months ago and when I checked on her today (I check her once weekly) I noticed this big brown thing I'm not familiar with. This is my first time keeping an ant but I do know a fair bit about them in general (documentaries) and I've never seen this. Only thing I can think is chewed up cotton?
It has me concerned. Her tube is clean, never used. There is a tiny bit of green mold in the water end but not enough to worry (I'll clean it if it's an issue). I keep her in a dark room that stays between 65-70F. I don't think she's stressed as far as I can tell. She laid two batches of eggs a week apart right after I got her.
This is my old iPod Nano 7th Gen. It's sat dormant for years but last night I loaded it with about 3GBs of music. (I uploaded a bunch of MP3 to Apple Music then used Apple Devices (on Windows 10) to load the iPod). Had no issues.
Then I'm sitting in lecture today, listening to music on the iPod using Bluetooth earbuds (Skullcandy Smokin' Buds), and the music just stops. The playtime was still counting but very slowly, can still change songs, but soon as I press play/pause or the Home Button the whole iPod freezes.
I tried to replicate with AUX but after 13min I gave up. Hook earbuds back up, freezes again, as you can see in the video. Did I do something wrong? Or does the Nano 7th Gen just not like Bluetooth?
I've been tryna google it off and on for weeks. Only thing it looks like it might be is The Eternal Zero but I just can't tell.
