They didn’t last more than a month because of the backlash (how could either consent?)
Supporters of the poster said it’s not “fair”, but it is “reality”.
Wondering how this would fly today?
I think I’m looking for advice. I’ve been a longstanding member of the “age is just a number” crowd, but today kind of hit me.
I still feel 17 in my head. I’ve always dated around my age, but the only difference is anyone under 35 looks like they’re 12 to me, including my doctor lol.
I was in the military for 25 years, got blown up, and retired at 42. Never had an “adult” job and I was around 18 year olds my whole adult life.
I dunno. Maybe I’m just in a midlife crisis. What say you?
Daily skater for 36+ years. My partner got me a deck with custom graphics of my kids, my dog, and me skating. It’s an 8.3, which has been my board size for a decade. It’s going straight onto my wall. Best gift I’ve ever gotten.

It’s weird trying to figure out a stance when I’m left-eye and left foot dominant, but I throw a baseball righty and write with my right. But I shoot a rifle and a basketball lefty. It’s been annoying my whole life. Basically when I try something new I gotta figure out if I’m going to do it righty or lefty first.
In regular stance, my power hand is missing a pinky and I’m not right footed. Southpaw fits my left foot, but my left punch just isn’t power. Feels like whatever I pick, I’m fighting myself first.

We went to Wilvet based on your advice. The techs and the doctors were wonderful.
She has a stomach infection (Gastroenteritis). She was already on a prescription diet, but I guess things can just happen. It caused sudden lethargy, pain, and… other stomach issues. She got medication for pain and nausea/GI, antibiotics, and a full bag of IV fluid (that’s the bump on her back).
All of her bloodwork and scans came back healthy.
I appreciate everyone’s concern, everyone is going to be ok, and I think I’ll be financially ok. She’s worth it.

My close to 15 year old service dog is having issues. I’ve been her handler since she was 2. We are both retired bomb techs that served in Afghanistan.
I do not have insurance, I do not care. I need a really good 24/7 veterinarian.

Neighbors outside were yelling about a loose dog that was acting aggressive. I’m a dog handler and I got her safely into my backyard using my dog. There is a collar but no tag, I walked her around my neighborhood with zero response, while knocking on doors.
I’ve already notified Salem Animal Control and I agreed to house this dog for several hours. After that I’m calling back animal control for removal.

My partner is divorced from an abusive ahole.
They have 100% custody, their ex is a trust fund kid who is literally in jail for assaulting women.
He’s not paid child support, like ever, they were married awhile, my partner is now seeking payment. They have two kids, one adult (got it), one child (he needs to pay).
Any lawyers reading this: Again, this is a father, in jail for abusing women, who has a trust fund, who is not paying anything towards the minor child’s needs.
