I like the gribbly nature of GSC models. This was an oil and enamel test model

Trying a dry brush base with a red glaze over the top to speed things up a bit. Works so far.
You've got the Duchy independent of the FWL again, prodding the Capellan flank while they're occupied elsewhere. They've got, relatively speaking, Chihuahua energy biting the back ankle of the big dog.
Bad stuff typically ends up happening to them. They're the slightly more successful version of the Skye people.
What's the consensus for them? Another FWL slapping? A minor kingdom power, playing diplomacy and opportunism? Annihilation for taking one bit too many out of a Great House?
It seems a bit dicey for them.
Just plugging along. Appreciate the good feedback some of you guys have been offering.
Touch up and base, except the Atlas. Oil weathering adds a lot of character to the mechs.
I just decided to power through this guy. BK next.
Victor is base and done. BK a little further
Making a two pack lance for a friend so they can have mortal enemies kill each other.
So I wanted to share this scale modeling tool I picked up in the last few months. Using oil paints for post acrylic weathering, griming and blending. The clean first shot is post acrylic. Pre-oil. Second photo is oils accomplished.
