A more relaxed version of my logic puzzle game will be released by the end of the year: COSMIC HOLES Junior.
“Relaxed” because my previous game, COSMIC HOLES, featured puzzles that were quite difficult to solve, and the game would assess your skill level to make things harder as soon as you started to get comfortable (with action as you figure things out, along with visual and mechanical twists to throw you off). In COSMIC HOLES Junior, I’m offering a much more relaxed progression, and the game will let you play at your own pace.
In COSMIC HOLES Junior, you must fill holes with colorful balls that spin at different speeds. These speeds depend on their electrical charge, which is influenced by the other colorful balls. The game requires strategic thinking on two levels: classic logic, similar to Sudoku, and timing-based logic related to the energy of each colorful ball placed.
You'll have access to a total of 300 logic puzzles. Each puzzle offers stars to collect, granting you access to the depths of a cosmic maze. A permanent in-game guide (in the upper-right corner of the screen) shows you how the colored balls interact with each other. If you get stuck on a puzzle, the game will partially fill in the grid for you, but you’ll need to replay that puzzle later to collect all the stars it offers. Finally, the puzzles are divided into 4 groups based on their size: at first, you’ll only have access to the small ones, then you can choose which ones you’d like to solve depending on your mood that day.
