I love my car (2018 s90) but I HAAAATE the idea that I have to pay for a subscription just to use features like keyless start, but, I live in Michigan and winters here can be harsh so do yall think it’s worth it?

Only downloaded it cause it was free for the PS monthly games thing a bit ago.

When Bear is trying to convince Ian to make the wish, on the wall it shows a sign of a woman with brunette hair, an arrow point at a bright lamp, and on the arrow it says “ONE WAY”

Suggesting the only way for Nikki to be free is for her to die or “go towards the light”.
Also most likely stating she won’t be free even after this wish is broken because she will still have the trauma.

I understand it’s still an opinion thing.

I saw this tonight for the second time and it was again, and phenomenal, but it sucks because I tried to dive deep into the themes and characters etc, with my friends and my brother and all of them said I was WAY overthinking it.

Some even said “Nikki was just a Physco bitch” like did y’all even PAY attention?!

I keep seeing over and over again, people acting like bear is the devil incarnate and it’s driving me crazy.
Bear is absolutely a horrible, abusive, down right pathetic person, in no way am I saying THAT is wrong, what I’m saying is wrong is calling is pure evil and a super villain.

I think people would rather quickly throw him into a category full of the most evil characters they know because it’s less emotional than speaking about how men and women like bear exists in our real life world.
There are thousands of people in this life that would act just how he did once they knew the wish was real.

Which is why I genuinely think his character is a “breath of fresh air” when it comes to antagonists/bad guys in film.

He’s HUMAN. He’s not some “Joker” maniac where they make him as evil as possible for the sake of it.
He’s a man, with massive self confidence, depressive, narcissistic, obsessive and loneliness issues which later lead into a power dynamic of neglect, selfishness and projection onto both wish and real Nikki.

I think his character is absolutely incredible and so fascinating and yet constantly I see him talked about as if he’s just another “most evil person ever to exist”

He’s not. And that’s why it’s so messed up.
Bear is no doubt a horrible person. But he’s really not even that evil and that’s why I think he’s so scary to most people.

I get why she lashes out more overtime since no matter what she does, bear is more skeptical and never satisfied with “wish” Nikki.

But I’m confused why she went so batshit crazy that night

She goes “I don’t like my dreams” obviously meaning the real Nikki, makes sense, so she…hides in the corner and watches him sleep? Aight I guess, after all wish Nikki doesn’t technically know how humans fully act.
but I’m really confused more by the next part, where, after he and hear talk for a second and he tries to sleep again, she moves super weird then runs somewhere in the house and screams

“WHY DON’T YOU LOOOOOVE MEEEEE”
In that super creepy distorted voice.

What caused her to be crying in the corner and her outburst before she lied back down in bed?
I get bear was trying to get her to come back to bed so maybe that seemed rude to her or something? Idk.

I have a 1984 C4 corvette with a 700r4 that was freshly rebuilt as of Friday by a shop because it would no longer shift out of first, but we are the ones who installed it.

We got it in today and once again, no longer shifts out of first.
Now, I know the shop is good and he showed me all the old pieces. The transmission absolutely needed a rebuild but idk what’s wrong.

The TV cable seems fine and is of correct tension, the fluid is correct, the linkage is in the right spot. It shifts fine into park, reverse and drive/1.

I was reading the governor could be stuck but that’s brand new as well. I know the TV cable in the housing is secured into the hook as well because I double checked after I drove it.

The electronics shouldn’t be an issue as he made them obsolete so I have no clue.

I’ll be calling the shop in the morning but I’m just trying to get some ideas because I’d rather not have to pay all the money all over again.

1984 corvette, I cannot find a good diagram online and it’s starting to get extremely irritating. It’s not the same as a regular 350 since it’s crossfire correct?

I have a 1984 C4, completely stock with the cross fire.
It runs total fine right now but how hard it it to swap the engine over to a more reliable fuel injection system?

I know basically nothing about this so please if you did what I’m asking. Drop the name of the system you installed.

I understand asking a Volvo loving community might be bias😂

But fr I’m seeing way more Volvo hate recently on car posts.

Whether it’s my car or a random post with a Volvo I often see comments of “it’s just a Volvo” “who cares it’s a Volvo” etc.

I’m from the USA, maybe it’s different in European countries but as far as I’m concerned. Volvo has always been seen as a solid mid to high ish luxury brand.
Sure they aren’t all great but overall, a solid pick.

Is that not actually true?
