From what I can see her launch was a bit of a flop...? Like sure she feels good about herself but did the brand make any money off her today?

The mountain ash tree in front of my house broke today. It's full of berries. Should I pick them before the landlord hauls away the mess?

I've never made jam or jelly before but I have some quickset in the cupboard and a TON of these rowan berries now that a trunk of this tree fell over. There's still lots of trunks left making a big bushy tree.

The landlord is coming to help haul it away. Should I harvest the berries?

We had a lot of rain the last few days. Thank goodness for my self draining pool cover!!!

The cover is an Amazon find. It ratchet straps around the pool, fits so snug and I can keep the cover off the water. I find when the cover is pulled taut off the water then the pool gets/stays warmer from the pocket of hot air between the water's surface and cover.

It has a drainage system. A hose goes under and slides onto a tube on the underside of the cover. Then little plug opens up on topside and a sieve tube goes into the drain hole. I find it's easiest to suck on the end of the hose to get the syphon going which is a little gross but whatever. It should come with a one way hand pump, like the fish tank manual pumps have, but oh well... It's a small price to pay for having a clean, ph balanced, and debris free pool.

I love this cover. It's my 2nd year with it.

Forecast looks great tomorrow so it'll def be a pool day. Might even hop in a bit today.

What do you use to protect your hair/scalp from all the dust and dirt while you clean?

Long haired school caretaker here. Dusting, brushing dust mops and possibly working where kids with lice sit... it's gross. I can't shampoo my hair/scalp daily, it'll get too dry.

I wore a baseball cap all year last year and I have so much breakage now.

Looking for suggestions to protect my hair/scalp.

Anyone rocking silk scarves or scrub caps? Or should I just shave my head?

Fire extinguishers should be free from the city/fire department

Just lit my joint and saw the flame and thought I wonder how many less house fires there would be if everyone just had a fire extinguisher. How much could the city save in fire response or insurance companies on losses? Probably lots.

Do you have a fire extinguisher? I have 3. The landlord put them in my rental.
