At one point in time I absolutely hated my nose and was constantly thinking about getting a nose job. I grew up in a community where there wasn’t many people who looked like me, and as a result that caused a lot of insecurity as I was growing up. My nose was a big part of that insecurity. I always thought it was bulbous honestly. It took a pretty long time for me to be confident in my overall appearance in general, but the most important thing is that these days I can genuinely look in the mirror at myself and love the features that God gave me😌

Routine: I usually keep my hair in braids or twists and usually get it washed by my hairdresser. I’m not sure which shampoo or conditioner she uses. However, when I do wash my own hair I typically use OGX’s Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo and Conditioner. I usually just allow my hair to air dry and I also use a bonnet at night when I go to sleep.

Like I said there isn’t really a lot to my routine because I mainly wear protective styles. I see my curly hair maybe like once every two months lol. I do love to embrace it when it’s out though😌

I haven’t posted here in a bit, so I figured that I would today. It’s just crazy reflecting on how I used to feel about my nose in general. I thought it was gigantic and couldn’t wait until I got older to get a nose job. I struggled when it came to my appearance for years, to the point where I couldn’t even look at my own self in the mirror. I never thought that i’d get to a point where i’d be confident with my appearance, and my nose was a huge part of that. I’ve realized that as i’ve grown older that my features were uniquely crafted just for me, and at the end of the day who am I to change what’s already perfect as is? I’m posting this just to let others struggling with their nose know that things do indeed get better with time, you’ll get to the point where you embrace your nose as well soon enough😌
