Hey everyone. I am international student here in USA been traveled to few countries till now.
I am building a community platform specifically for NRIs. The goal is simple: everything an NRI needs, in one place.
Before I build further, I want to hear from you directly.
I know we are tech people and we can spend time definitely capture the information anywhere in online for sure but here is the application without spending much time on searching in online ..
What is the one thing you wish you could find easily as an NRI that you currently cannot?
Also looking for a few volunteers who want to help shape this — no commitment, just your honest input and maybe 1-2 hours a week. Drop a comment or DM me.
Building this for the community, with the community. 🙏
A few things I am thinking of including:
Accommodation board — roommates, subleases, apartments — specifically for NRIs who understand our living preferences
Student education guidance — end to end information policies and guidance of how it works ..
Community events — temple events, cricket leagues, cultural programs, workshops, all in one calendar
Government services hub — USCIS guidance, OCI card help, passport renewal, driving license transfer — explained in plain English
Travel section — visa-free countries for Indian passport holders, group travel board, NRI travel stories and itineraries
Discussion board — a cleaner, more permanent alternative to WhatsApp group discussions
All the above were already designed ….
Planning to implement one more thing safety and emergency measures for Nris — I felt so bad Nris life were in damaging their peace and lives without understanding the local policies rules and not taking care of health ..
And more based on what you tell me you actually need
Thanks
Roast me with your thoughts or guide me ?
Hello ..
I am from Guntur and currently living in USA .. just checking any Nris were here for connecting home town people for casual discussions and talks ..
Hey new parents — what do you WISH a baby tracking app actually did?
My partner and I recently had our first baby and like most new parents, we’ve been scrambling to track feedings, diapers, sleep, and everything in between — usually at 3 AM with one hand and zero brain cells. We’ve tried a one apps out there but nothing feels like it was truly built for how chaotic those first weeks actually are. So we’re in the early stages of thinking through what a simpler, faster baby tracking app could look like — one that doesn’t require tapping through five screens just to log a wet diaper.
we’re genuinely curious — what’s the one thing you wish your baby tracking app did that it currently doesn’t? Or what frustrates you most about the ones you’ve tried? We’ve heard a lot of parents say they wish they could just speak the update instead of typing it, but we’d love to hear what YOUR biggest pain point is.
Drop your thoughts below — even a one-liner helps. And if you’re a dad, nurse, or grandparent who helps with baby care, your perspective is just as valuable. We want to build something that works for the whole family, not just mom.

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for suggestions on how to modify my voice as different or voiceovers in videos.
I want the voice to sound natural but hide my real identity.
What apps, software, or AI tools do you recommend for changing voice professionally?
Also, any tips for beginners doing anonymous voice content creation would help. Thank you!
