look, I get these two brands are known for being bashed on in the sub, but these are my top 2 considerations for an intermediate kit, the Alesis Nitro Ultimate, and the Simmons Titan 75

Personally, I don’t care much about sound, but more so about feel and size, which is why I passed on the Roland kit at this level.

Each option has its sacrifices, the Alesis has a proper hi hat stand, but not a very good ride and snare size, and the Simmons has a very well sized snare, on a stand mind you, but not a proper hi hat, and I’ve heard some ok things about the toms and crashes

so, which do you think is a better option for me? is there another option I’m overlooking? please help

PS, I’m upgrading from a Donner DED 80, so anything would be a major step up, even an Alesis nitro max lmao

personally my favorite is mid season 2, while late season 2 and season 4 are more polished, I do come to miss the cartoony faces and expression the show had, like the goofy faces, which were also in early season 2. But I feel like mid season two is the perfect middle ground between that expressive cartoony look and quality animation, I do really miss it

as far as I’m concerned, the only issues that stick out to me is the weak snare arm/rack, and the hi-hat pedal, is there anything I need to know about these issues? is there any other issues I’m unaware of?
