Brave Mobile (iOS) no longer working with Reddit

I am finding now that Brave for iOS no longer works with Reddit, because it blocks the page with a popup insisting I download the app. This has started within the last day or so.

I tried using Safari, with no issues. Any comment or solutions would be much appreciated.

Edit: I use a VPN.

Mini Clubs in the UK and Ireland

Hi everyone. I am going to put together a directory of 'In Real Life' Mini car owners' clubs throughout the UK and Ireland and would like to ask you for your help.

Please can you let me know below if you're in a local Mini club and provide the details?

This is part of my drive to get people to put their phones down, close their laptops, and get out and about meeting with others who share our love for our Minis!

Also our Mini UK subreddit is growing well and getting some engagement, so please consider joining up if you live in the UK or Ireland.

Low profile tyres

Hi everyone. Someone posted here this morning about low profile tyres but it was deleted. I don't know why but if the poster would like to repost I'm sure someone will be along to help.

In Real Life!

There's a group of us who are friends. We meet up regularly. Here is a photo of us at a picnic spot in the Forest of Bowland.

You can't beat meeting face to face and going for a drive together!

So, where are we all from then?

I live in Calderdale, West Yorkshire. I am originally from Luton, but moved north just over a decade ago. Lots of scenic routes up here!

How do I set it so posts don't have to be approved by a mod?

Hi everyone. I'm new to all of this and trying to get my head around how moderating a subreddit works. I find that all new posts have a tick and a cross waiting for me to approve them. How do I turn this off so people can just post?

An intro from the admin

Hi everyone. I set up this group because it's nice having something closer to home and I'm a bit fed up with everything being US centred.

This is Hendrix, a Cooper SE (electric). Had him four years now. He handles just like my old Smart Roadsters - like a go-kart!

Don't do car shows or large meets preferring smaller gatherings with friends on driveouts to interesting places. There's a group of us in the NW that does just that.

Nice to meet you all!

Is there a good Signal groups directory

I understand there are thousands of signal groups and I would like to see what groups exist that match my interests. Are there any directories of sites on Signal?

Mayonnaise Chocolate Cake

I've always wanted to try this and it turned out to be very moist. This is a first attempt and wished I hadn't used fan assist in the oven as the outside cooked quicker than the core. Overall a good first attempt and hope to try again soon.

This recipe simply substitutes the eggs and butter with mayonnaise. It originates from the US apparently. It's very tasty and the choir soon polished it off during the tea break.

Meet the 'Old Dog'

As a new member of this subreddit, I thought I'd share a pic of my old dog of an aircon unit. We bought it from Homebase in Luton in 2004 and it is now 22 years old.

To this day it works well. About five years ago we noticed it wasn't cooling properly so I took off the back panel and found the heat exchanger was caked with dust. We peeled that off, cleaned the fins with compressed air, and it is as good as new.

It's just starting to get a little ropey now, but still it cools our bedroom. How many more years it'll last for is anyone's guess.
