Corner should throw in the towel more often

We get it, boxing is a physical sport and injuries and long-term disabilities come with the territory

And seeing fighters keep going until they become handicapped or brain damaged is part of the appeal

But at some point the corner should throw in the towel even if their fighter still has a chance to win the fight. No fight is worth a man's life and you can't always expect the referee or the fighter himself to make the right decision

I think the desire to protect the dude should outweigh the fighter's legacy

Why do family members want long visits when they don't want you there

Why do family members insist on a long visit when they're not happy to see you once you get there

It seems to happen a lot to a lot of people

Why do current NBA fans say Bob Cousy only used his right hand

I heard that a lot so I watched the footage. He uses his left hand a lot

Look I know the rules and training and nutrition and drugs have all changed and players these days are better for all those reasons but that line was not even remotely true

People shouldn't be upset if their significant other isn't invited initially

Look wedding planning is a nightmare and people with thin skin makes it worse. Not everyone knows everyone else's relationship status and/or remembers their name of the significant other

If you're invited but the person you're in a relationship is not invited and the bride/groom said in the invitation to inform them if you have a plus one you should inform the bride/groom that you have a plus one. Not throw a hissy fit and be insulted and post all over the internet how insensitive and rude they are

They don't hate you, they don't think your plus one is a bad person, they're not forgetful and careless. They just don't remember 200 names off the top of their head just because you mentioned it casually in a phone conversation 3 months ago

Why do billionaires spend so much money on horses

They spend millions on purchasing sires, they spend more millions on stud fees, they spend millions on raising horses and maintaining a stable

Not sure what the ROI is but it has to be deeply in the red right

So why do they spend so much money building a big stable

On the flip side why do they retire horses so early, sure they talk about the "economics" of the sport but they lose millions to begin with anyway

Why don't teams draft and develop pass catching running backs

In the passing age it seems like pass catching running backs are becoming more and more important in the offense

And they seem to be really important to winning. The 49ers dynasty always had a few guys to catch the ball out of the backfield and the Patriots dynasty had no shortage of them

They're good for 600-1000 scrimmage yards a year and help spread the ball around

So why don't teams put more resources into them, it seems like most of them are some rando castoffs or rookie free agents or late round draft picks

Why do big rushing numbers always lead to victory?

OK so all the analytics say that passing is way way way more effective than running

But we see a team pass 50 times for 300 yards all the time and it doesn't always lead to victory

Once in a blue moon we see a team run 50 times for 300 yards and when that happens the team never ever ever loses and the other team gets embarrassed off the field

Obviously it's harder to run for that many yards because defenses try to stop that from happening and I'm not questioning team strategies but I'd like to know why there's such a disparity in the results

If you can't afford the wedding, you can't afford the woman

If you can't afford the wedding, you can't afford the woman

If you can't afford the ring, you can't afford the woman

If you can't afford the dates, you can't afford the woman

If she doesn't have a good job and lives with you rent-free and uses you as an ATM, you can't afford the woman

So many red flags yet it seems so many men fall for it

I hope you learn from other men's mistakes

There is no need to pay for dates

Just split 50-50. It doesn't get any fairer than that

Besides when you pay for dates you're expecting a benefit from your investment. But why pay when 9 times out of 10 someone else gets the benefit for free

Which of Hercules' love interests was your favorite?

Deianeira - The OG

Looked like this relationship worked out fine, and Hercules was enjoying his new domestic life. Alas Hera had other ideas and set him on the Wrong Path (which was corrected by the end of the episode)

Nemesis - The childhood sweetheart

Hercules' first love. But fate had other ideas and Nemesis became married to her job. She tried to move on but things didn't work out with Ares either and became a single mother. At least the child has powerful godparents so maybe things will start looking up for her and her child.

Atalanta - The Olympic champion

Sassy, competitive, and attractive, their chemistry was immediate. But never went beyond the spark as their busy schedules rarely aligned.

Xena - The Warrior Princess

She started out as one of Hercules' toughest foes but after going through the Gauntlet, she had an Unchained Heart. But she had visions on greater things, as in eventually eclipsing Hercules' popularity and legacy.

Serena - the Golden Hind

After many near misses it seemed like Hercules finally found someone who did not slip through his fingers. Nope, fate would have it otherwise and it turns out to be the best relationship he never had.

I'm sure I'm missing a few, so please feel free to add the ones I left out.
