Can't cut through a block of protein ice-cream?

This issue has only recently started happening so I'm not sure what has caused it as nothing has really changed.

I make protein ice-cream with semi-skimmed milk and protein powder. I know not to put it straight in the machine as it'll be too hard so I set it out for a while or (normally) rest it in hot water.

Whenever I put it in the machine though it jams and when I pull it out I'm left with a cylinder block of hard ice-cream surrounded by melted ice-cream. There's just a thick block of hard/dry ice cream that the machine ends up spinning and then getting jammed in (once or twice the blade has actually got stuck in the middle of it).

Any ideas what could be causing it? I use 4 scoops of powder to around 350ml of milk so is the powder ratio too high?

Thanks

What's the random matchmaking like?

I tried BDO a year or 2 back and I've just re-installed it to give it a go on my Lvl 20 character.

I've read that compared to other MMO's there isn't much in the way of dungeons or raids but there is Atoraxxion.

I don't really want to join any guilds or anything as they're a bit too organised (although I will if that's the only option) but I wanted to know what the random matchmaking is like? And also whether or not the dungeons are considered a viable end game goal?

I want to level my character up to the point where I can join in some group stuff but not sure if BDO is that kinda game or if its mainly go your own way.

Thanks

How do you make the movement 'disc' appear and why don't my ships highlight when dragging the cursor?

Does anyone know how to make it so that the blue disc thing appears when you're trying move your ships? Not sure if it's just me but when I try and move a ship to a location it's often really inaccurate because it's got the height or depth all wrong. When the disc appears though you can control the height of it but it seems to be completely random as to when it decides to work - Sometimes right clicking makes them move and sometimes it brings the disc up.

Also, when I'm trying to select multiple ships by clicking and dragging an area it isn't selecting them all - It looks like it's only selecting my attack ships so when I try to move my support frigates aswell it won't let me highlight them at the same time. Is that a setting or option I can change or is there something I'm missing?

Using a 3 person inflatable kayak alone?

Looking into getting an inflatable kayak to use in the ocean (UK based). I'm looking at the Decathlon website and there's one on offer for £260 (£120 off). It's the 'Pack canoe kayak Tribord 100 Essential - 2/3 people'.

I like the idea of having a larger one for my daughter and dog but 99% of the time itll just be me and probably my dog (depending on how she likes it).

Is it a bad idea to get a larger kayak for a single person or is the size difference between a 1-2 person kayak and a 2-3 person not really that big a deal for manouevering?

Character has the handwritten speech Martin Luther King Jr originally intended to give?

Trying to think of something I watched where there are 2 characters talking in a bar. One is an older black man and he's speaking to the main character. During this conversation hes talking about watching a man give a speech and it turned out to be Martin Luther King Jr giving his 'I Have a Dream' speech and he says when MLK Jr walked off stage he gave him a piece of paper with a speech written on it that showed the entire thing was improvised.

The main character is obviously shocked and I think they talk about why he never sold it as it must be worth alot but he says he never would.

I'm 90% sure it's a film and I'm pretty sure it was made within the last 10 years (although I only watched it recently).

I've gone back and thought about the films I've recently watched and Just Mercy is potentially it but ChatGPT thinks otherwise (although could be wrong).

Any ideas?

Are any of these games as close to being finished as they'll ever be?

I try and avoid early access games where I can - Not because I think they're bad but because I'll only ever play a game once so when I do I want to make sure I get the full experience of it.

I'm looking for a game to play and my wishlist is full of early access games.

I know things like Palworld and Enshrouded are close to getting full releases so Ill wait for those but with this list are any of them pretty much finished or completed to the point that they have as much content as they'll ever have (I don't mind if a developer has stopped updating a game as atleast I know I'm not gonna miss out by playing it too early):

Sunkenland

Mist Survival

Bellwright

Runescape: Dragonwilds

StarRupture

Nested Lands

The Last Caretaker

Windrose

Project: Mist

I've also got Grounded 2 on my list but pretty sure that'll still have alot of work to go. Also conscious that 1 or 2 on there (like StarRupture) only came out a few months ago so really doubt they're close to being done but I know devs will sometimes badge a game as EA as a way to get around buggy launches when in fact the game content is complete and they're just ironing it out.

Where is the homestead?

I'm probably misunderstanding this system and you have to build a home from scratch but I started doing a mission where I had to fix a roof on a house etc.

Is this the homestead (or atleast one of the options to use as a homestead instead of building your own) and if so how do I find it on the map as I can't see it anywhere?

Is there a way to edit keys?

Not sure how to phrase this but is there a way to edit or add what the buttons on the bottom row do?

I.e. Is it possible to add in a question mark button? The question mark at the minute is only available by holding the bottom right key and scrolling right but I'd like to add a dedicated button like you can on some other keyboards.

What are the blue icons above the sword?

Had to take a picture on my phone as I'm on reddit mobile.

Does anyone know what the 4 blue marks above the Heng blade are for? I know I have certain skills like the deflect triangle move so is that linked to it?

Also, what's the red box icon (and blue on next to the spear)? Probably something obvious but couldn't find the icon anywhere in the menus I looked.

How to I get into the normal Android settings from DUDU launcher?

I've recently bought a car with an after market Android head unit. I've installed DUDU launcher which works OK but I want to check the brightness settings (I'm pretty sure it's maxed out but want to check anyway).

I can't seem to find a way to actually get to the stock android setting menu though. In the DUDU apps list there's a settings tab but that takes me to the DUDU settings. If I scroll down from the top the quick menu doesn't have a settings button. And when I force stop the DUDU app it just loads back up.

Any ideas? Tried pressing all sorts of buttons.

Disabled Steam Input but controller keeps connecting?

I can't imagine this is a game specific issue but if it is I'm playing Where Winds Meet.

In the game Properties I've disabled Steam Input. Then in the Steam settings I've gone to Controller > Advanced Settings and then pretty much all the options are off but I've specifically set 'PlayStation Controller Support' to 'Not Enabled'.

For some reason though it's still recognising my controller. Does anyone know why and how to stop it?

The only thing I can think might be interfering is I've done that Pico connection thing where you can play wireless but it thinks it's wired so you get all the dualsense features. I'm not sure why that would make the controller still connect to Steam though.

In the controller menu I can see the Dualsense I'm using. I've clicked into Details but there's no option to disable it but given I've turned everything else off I'm not sure why it even appears as a controller.

Any ideas?

DUDU Set Up Help

I've just bought a vehicle that came with an Android head unit. I've managed to connect to Android Auto and that works fine but the main launcher was pretty crap so someone recommended installing the DUDU Launcher.

I've done that but I'm a bit confused on how the connections all work. When my phone is connected to the car it's done via Zlink and there's a little widget that pops up - Clicking the widget takes me away from the launcher UI and puts me on the Android Auto (AA) one.

I want to connectly directly to the DUDU launcher though so does anyone know how to do that? Im guessing there might be something where I'm already connected to it but the AA is overidding it but annoyingly I can't see a way to turn off AA to check.

In the DUDU settings I can't see any Bluetooth or WiFi settings either.

Does anyone know exactly how the process works as I want to try to use the DUDU Spotify, maps etc. rather than the AA ones?

Thanks

Does anyone know how to customise the home screen below?

Long shot but does anyone recognise this home screen and know either a) how to customise it or B) what the UI is called so I can Google it?

I've just bought a new car that has this media unit installed. I've managed to get AA working through ZLink (that was already installed on it) but I'm trying to modify this home screen aswell.

I've tried all the usual methods and searched all through the settings with no luck. When I click on 'Apps' and then hold down on an app it looks like it's going to let me drop it on the home screen but when I do it says there's no space (and holding anywhere on the actual home screen does nothing).

I've included some info on the settings page in 2 other pics and the only setting related to Home is that launcher but there are no settings I can change on it.

The unit comes with Podofo+ which I've never heard of before so I'm not sure if that's controlling anything but it seems to be something heavily used and I can't turn it off but again I can't find any Homescreen settings anywhere near it.

TTLock - Turn off 'Anti-Theft' Lockout?

Just bought a new front door handle that uses the TTLock app.

It's all working great except it's raining today so I went to use the fingerprint unlocker but it wouldn't read my thumb correctly and after about 6 attempts an alarm started going off and it locked me out from trying again.

I've looked trough the settings and can't see the option but hopefully I just missed it so does anyone know if it's possible to turn that alarm/lockout off? Seems like a bit of a mis-step given how unreliable fingerprint scanners can be.

Connect to water plumbing?

Struggling to Google the answer as I'm getting answers around connecting to the CO2 tank instead.

I'm in the UK if that makes a difference. I was looking to get a Soda Stream but ideally I want get one that I can connect to my indoor water plumbing so I don't have to keep refilling it. Is that something you can do with any of the Soda Stream models?

Also, do the drinks come out cold cold? I prefer it as cold as it can get but I've never been able to try one out.

Thanks
