Looking for Opinions on Autogun/ Autostubber Conversions

So I'm in the process of making some drop troops. Plan is to run some Cadian Infantry Squads, and Recon Squads. I wanted to make some unique looking Autoguns and Autostubbers for them, hopefully keeping the same-ish visual look for easy identification. I've settled on 2ish styles (none of the mockups are fully finished, and would be touched up with greenstuff, including adding a bullet breach).

Ultimately I'm looking for some opinions & thoughts on them!

For the Autoguns (Pics A-C):

A) Took inspiration from the FG42. But I really like the light weight look, and the fact it would tie in with the regular Elysian Accatran lasguns. If I went with this style, I'd probably shorten the barrel length a touch.

B/C) The initial style I had in mind. Converted from the Kasrkan hellgun, with a Delaque suppressor. I think the bullpup design would let it align with the Accatran lasguns (and would shorten the mag to be a better length).

For the Auto-Stubbers (Pics D-E), very similar to the Autoguns, but tried to add a larger drum/ box mag, and bipod.

D) I really like how this one turned out. Don't think I'd change much. But, it looks really heavy for recon troops.

E) I think I'd lengthen the barrel a bit more than I have it here. I tried to place the bipod in the same location as on the regular Accatran lasguns, but it's a little cramped looking. I think if I extend the barrel, I might be able to fit them further out. Could also just go no bipod for this one.

Elysian Guardsmen

Decided to paint up a few Elysians I've had in the painting cue, as a little bit of a palette cleanser from doing Marines. Been very much enjoying painting these models up.

Astral Claws Razorbacks

For my 6th Ed. Astral Claws force, I built 2 Razorbacks, to drive around my combat squad-ed special weapons. One has Twin-Assault Cannons, and the other with Las-Plasma. Since they both looked nearly Identical (minus the turret, and squadron marking) I combined them into one post.

I decided to go with the Deimos Pattern Rhino for the body, as pretty much every other model in my army is Converted (minus my scout squad). So it just seemed like a bit of a better choice. The turrets are the old Forgeworld ones. I was also very happy to find out that the regular Razorback top hatch fits on the Deimos rhino, made things a lot easier aha.

6th Ed Astral Claws Tactical Squad

The first of two tactical squads for my 6th Edition Astral Claws force that are getting used for a local Badab escalation campaign!

While not exactly old/mid-hammer models.... I wanted to kind of have the look of Mk7 Marines, but didn't want their old small scale. So I decided to use the Heresy Mk.3 bodies, and gave them the Mk. 7 helmets and arms/ bolters (which surprisingly fit very well!). The belt fed bolters are from the old Chaos Marines, but with the Chaos icons scratched off.

The Lion vambrace is from an AOS kit, and the plan is for all regular Sargeants to have it (along with the gold helmet). While Veterans will get an extra Lion knee pad as well.

The missile launcher I think is my favourite of the bunch. The launcher itself is from the new Scout kit (it had some nicer details), and the backpack was converted. I took the old missile launcher backpack, and cut away the stowed arm and repositioned it to be reloading (while giving it a spare missile I had lying around).

Only thing I wish came out a bit better was the pigments on the legs. But it was first time ever using them, so bit of a learning experience.

Oh... and don't mind the one marine with red eyes... they were the initial test scheme model aha. As much as I liked the red, green definitely was the better choice in my opinion.

Astral Claws Assault Squad

Recently been painting up a 1000pts force of Astral Claws for a local Badab escalation campaign. Finally finished all of the models this weekend for it, and plan to post them slowly over the next little bit!

First up is the Assault Squad. They'll be bumped up to a full 10man unit later in the campaign. Lore wise, I'm giving each Sargeant a Lion vambrace (it's from an AoS stormcast unit), and Veteran units will also be getting a lion kneepad.

All of the models in the force are going to be the larger Heresy first born scale. The assault marines were built mainly from the Mk.6 assault squad. The old Mk.7 jump packs fit them surprisingly well.

Kroot Mercenary Warband

My gaming group has been thinking about delving into Inq28 recently. And I decided to convert up a Kroot themed warband for it, so that it wasn't all just humans :P

The one wearing some Tau armour is in my mind a Shaper, with the others tagging along.

For the various armour leg and chest plates, I didn't sculpt them. Rather I made blue stuff molds of bits from the regular Kroot kit. The tau chest piece and leg pads are from Neoteric Miniatures.

Not shown are also two Kroot hounds (count as Cyber Mastiff's in game) However, they had no conversion work done to them :P

Inq28 Kroot Mercenary Warband

My gaming group has been thinking about delving into Inq28 recently. And I decided to convert up a Kroot themed warband for it. Figured I'd share it here :)

For Inq28, there's only one profile for any Kroot. But the one wearing some Tau armour is in my mind a Shaper, with the others tagging along.

Night Lords Saturnine Praetor

Finally got around to painting up my Saturnine Praetor for my Heresy Night Lords force. Was a really fun model to paint up... but took quite a bit longer than I expected it would so am kinda dreading his command squad buddies.

Rocking the executioners axe as a war axe, and lightning claw as a disruption fist.

The last photo shows the pre-painted conversion work. And before anyone asks, the Atramentar lion head was not hand sculpted. I blew up one of Damsa's terminator shoulder pads, and made a blue stuff mold of it, so I could more easily form it to the shoulder pad.
