A terrifying dream, a mysterious woman, and the word “Rudra”.
A few days ago, I had a really strange and scary dream.
I was in a dark, closed room, and throughout the dream I was completely paralyzed. I couldn't move my body at all.
After some time, a woman or female figure appeared and came toward me. She said just two things: "Rudra" and "The beginning is the end, the end is the beginning." Then she left.
After that, I was still alone in the dark room. I felt like something was coming toward me. I can't really explain it, but I somehow knew it wasn't human. I got extremely scared and started panicking because I couldn't move or escape.
Then I suddenly woke up.
I don't remember the whole dream clearly, but those parts have stayed with me, especially the words "Rudra" and "The beginning is the end, the end is the beginning."
The strange thing is that my life has been pretty messy lately. I'm struggling with discipline, my studies, my future, figuring out what I actually want from life, and the feeling that I'm wasting a lot of time. I'm constantly thinking about how I can change myself and get my life together.
Maybe that's why this dream has stayed with me more than an ordinary nightmare would.
I know Rudra is connected to Lord Shiva, and the idea of beginnings and endings also seems connected to cycles, transformation, destruction and renewal. But I don't know much about the deeper meaning of Rudra in Hindu philosophy.
So I'm curious: what do you think this dream and these words could mean?
Are there any Hindu scriptures, stories, or teachings connected to Rudra that deal with transformation, endings and beginnings, fear, destruction and renewal, or overcoming ignorance?
I'm not claiming that this was definitely supernatural or a divine message. I just can't shake the feeling that there might be something meaningful behind it, and I'd genuinely like to hear from people who know Hindu philosophy or Shaivism better than I do.
