I keep getting rejected at final rounds for fintech analyst roles

so far — they all loved me and said I was a cultural fit. I just want a job and I would love to be in fintech. what should I change? I’ve been unemployed almost a year after a layoff. I’m a hard worker. I have no degree I got my series license and learned how to read trade blotters , my wealth portfolios , do risk assessments , even create aml bsa programs on my own. I’m really a go getter and I’m so angry and disappointed. any advice please . I can take criticism I just want a JOB.

Unemployed for almost 12 month

As the title states I was laid off September of 2025. I’ve had a good number of interviews and final rounds. but I’m not landing roles. I’ve been told I’m a perfect cultural fit and match but ultimately im passed on a week or so later. some people say I should follow up more , make them laugh, be phony… I’m tired of the politics I just want a job. About me compliance professional with 10 years experience in AML/BSA , fraud , and risk. Experienced in cryptocurrency , fintech , wealth management (RIA/Wealth management) , and banking.

12 months unemployed and confused ! Advice please

As the title states I was laid off September of 2025. I’ve had a good number of interviews and final rounds. but I’m not landing roles. My mentor died last year. Ever since I cannot gain employment. I’ve done work for others and they’ve gotten jobs within a weeks time. I’ve had elders do work for me and all I’m very heartbroken .

I could use some feed back

I’ve been unemployed since October 15th 2025. I have two small kids and no family. I’ve gotten many interviews and made it to final rounds just to be rejected and told I am a strong candidate with a great background but it was a better match. I’ve been in compliance /risk /aml for ten years with crypto certs and I’m appalled at why I can’t land a position.

Single mom 9 months unemployed

9 months , 10k+ applications, 100+ interviews ,8 final interviews. I’m a single mom at two I’m down to my last month of savings. I’m so worried. I need remote work due to having special needs kiddos. My last final round the recruiter apologized and said they went with another candidate but they wanted me too but couldn’t secure funding. Still on the hunt for fully remote compliance / financial crimes / trust and safety/ role. I’m losing hope… I need a new vehicle. Hopefully if I defer my mortgage it won’t affect my credit. I let my kids down I feel awful. I’ve never been unemployed longer than two weeks. I would love to hear some positive stories
