I’ve been working as a SFL for Walgreens for nearly 10 years and I hate it.

I don’t have any college degrees or any experience outside of 10 years with retail.

realistically I just want to move on to something that pays $20 plus per hour.

im willing to do just about any job as long as its not overnight shifts.

I find myself mindlessly scrolling on indeed, but nothing good ever seems to present itself. every job seems to require experience or the pay is a joke.

do you guys have any advice?

I’ve been maining the famas in multiplayer, but Im thinking about switching to the galil.

store manager sits in the office from arrival at 8 until maybe 10-1030 am.

then after leaving pharmacy spends another maybe 2-3 hours in the office 12pm-230 pm usually. sometimes even longer

i understand that store managers have to do office work. but why is the inventory specialist also in there? just sitting down doing nothing. on the clock.

also the store manager isn’t working. 80% of the time I go in the office she’s playing on her phone,

i dont have a ton of money and I really wanted to play some black ops 1. so I went out and got a ps4 instead of a ps5…thinking it would be fine given that the original bo1 was designed for ps3 so surely a ps4 would work fine. I couldn’t be more wrong

the game has an insane amount of input lag. genuinely feels like 100+ milliseconds. it’s really bad, they also made it so ps4 can’t ever be host in any lobby so you’re always on a 2 bar or 3 bar connection. for whatever reason the ps4 seems to have a horrible connection compared to the ps5.

it sucks because I can’t afford a ps5 but the game is damn near unplayable on ps4.

PS: gotten confirmation that the input lag is minimal on ps5 and overall my buddies have a lot less connection issues than I do using the ps5.

also to clarify black ops 2 works fine on the ps4 without any issues. this is specifically black ops one I have these issues on

this has been going on for quite a while now so late rant/vent

getting nonstop banners in photo. only been open for 2 hours and already printing my 4th banner with another 6 on the screen

I noticed this started around March/april time

why did customers overnight seem to start spamming banner orders?

The micromanaging is out of control. what do they seek to achieve tracking every little thing? outside of making the employees miserable.

Ive been at Walgreens as a SFL for 10 years now and I can say this is the most stressful and worst time to work for this company.

it feels like 90% of my shift imnot even able to work because I’m too busy signing off on some bullshit piece of paper saying ”.I understand this metric” that has nothing to fucking do with my job.

sorry guys, this job has got me heated. I’ll definitely be job hunting soon. working here is slowly becoming a form of torture

Its actually rare to find someone who has something good to say about Sbmm, or EOMM,

activision claims that player retention is better with SBMM enabled.

the issue with that for me is that even if that’s true, long term it fries the game and everyone ends up hating it. the best of call of duty’s have 0 SBMM, and it’s all connection based.

its so obvious how to instantly improve cod. 0 SBMM. why are they dying on this hill of keeping it?
