I'm getting really tired of seeing NSFW art everywhere

I really hate how in the internet, it's normalized to see NSFW Art. It's so hard to avoid it in social media pages like Instagram, Tumblr, Deviantart, etc because it will just show up in your recommendations with no warning whatsoever. There are options for these art sites to blur and filter out NSFW art but of course, some artwork do manage to pass through, especially if the adult art is more softcore.

What I hate about NSFW art is that it's mostly women who are drawn in a innuendo manner. One of the most common factors in this type of art is how boobs, butts, belly, and feet are exaggerated as hell. And their oc or fictional character is posing sexually.

I have big problems with NSFW Art because it's disgusting as hell. A women is drawn in such a disgusting manner that makes me want to physically retch but thats not the only problem. I feel like that type of art is so sexist because the artists, followers, and likers of this type of art see us women as their own tool. We're only important to them if we have big boobs, big feet, big butts, etc and it's reinforcing the standards that men want from women.

I also hate how normalized it is to see this type of art. I see plently of people joking about Rule-34 and how cursed it is but that's it. No one points out how sexist it is, and I'm feeling tired of it. Instead you'd get backlash and even worse. I wish more people acknowledged how harmful it is and I'm tired of pretending it's not.

Tumblr deleted my account a month ago without giving me a reason.

My account got deleted and all my comments and posts got wiped out from Tumblr. The worst part is, they didn't give me a reason for my deletion. What should I do?

r/hanazuki is looking for moderators

Hello everyone, I'm the only moderator of r/hanazuki which is a subreddit focused on discussion the obscure 2017 webseries targeted for children.

I am planning on taking a long break from the internet so I need to find at least one moderator to watch over the subreddit while I'm away. All that's really required is to be a member of Reddit for around three months, have a verified email, and mention what subreddits you have and currently mod, though experience is not required.

Give me a DM if you're interested.

Favorite OST in Magia Record (can be game and anime)

Someone on the Madoka sub asked about this on the main sub so I wanted to ask you guys about it for Magia Record specifically.

u/DeliciousCare144 — 21 days ago

Tips for getting new moderators on my sub?

I'm the only moderator for a slightly active small community. However, in a few days, I'm going to be taking a break from Reddit for a long time. Since I'm the only moderator on there, I need to bring in at least one moderator to watch over the subreddit when I'm gone. How should I begin this progress exactly? And what should I look for in a moderator? How does appointing someone as a moderator work exactly?

If Ever After High ever came back again, like Monster High, then how well would it sell with new generations?

Sort of an offtopic question but did any of you become an antinatalist because of abusive family? Or did the abuse influence your antinatalist belief?

Why am I still here?

I don't know why I'm still in this awful place. Everyday, I'm wasting all my hours away in this terrible place just to find some enjoyment in my miserable life but all I feel is a crushing emptiness. I find no pleasure in the internet and it feels like a hell just to be here. This place took so much of my life away from me and I'm fully aware, yet I can't get myself to leave, no matter what steps I take to leave. I hate how I always end up coming back because its the only coping skill I have. I really don't know what to do at this point...

We really need to stop treating education as a requirement for survival

(Hello all. I originally wrote this post as critique to tertiary education but I thought this topic should be discussed for compulsory schooling as well. So I decided to edit my original post to fit the topic. Thanks for understanding.)

Let's analyze the term, "Education", itself, which means the process itself to learn and deeply understand the topic. To me, the purpose of Education is to go for the sake of education itself. To me, it represents a love for learning a topic, whether it be Chemistry, Math, or even Philosophy. The goal of Education is simple, its to learn the topic you are deeply passionate about.

But in today's society, education has lost it's meaning. Education is not treated as a passion anymore. Instead, it is treated as a requirement for survival and on top of that, it's something forced upon the youth. Society tells the youth of today that you must get good grades in subjects you are forced to learn to achieve success. Otherwise, you will fail to survive and end up on the streets, begging for food to those passing by. On top of that, you will be considered a failure, and be treated as an inferior, worthless member of society.

There is also the matter of what exactly are students learning in higher education. Students are required to take classes in the topic that society deems worthy for survival, which are the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Other subjects, such as the Fine Arts and Music are deemed unworthy by our society to the point where they even get cut or eliminated by schools as well. There are students who are deeply passionate about the fine arts or music but they immediately get discouraged from pursuing their passions and instead, end up pursuing a field they deeply have no passion for.

This is how education has lost its meaning. We have turned something built on the premise of the love of learning to a tool of survival and a label for elitism. The purpose of school is to foster a passion for learning and provide the blueprint to master your passions. But all the passion for learning is mostly gone now from our modern society and we have built a generation of humanity that have lost their passion for learning and view it as tool for survival.

Most people are not going to school for the love of learning, they are going because they have to. Otherwise, they will be treated as an inferior in society and end up in poverty itself, to the point where one cannot survive. Education is yet another victim of our judgmental and corrupt capitalist society.

I feel like I was created just to be tortured.

For a long time now, my life felt like a hell, a nightmare. Everyday, I keep wishing that I didn't have to wake up to such a hellish life, where I am tortured by my bad luck. But I always end up waking up to bad days everday and I feel like I'm getting tortured by everyone around me.

Nobody cares that Im being tortured because they're the ones torturing me and I have no one by my side to comfort me. Its not like I haven't seeked help, I have and it isn't working. I go to therapy, yet it will never change the fact that my life is a living nightmare. My life is such a living nightmare to the point where I'd rather be in the psyche ward at this point but I know I'll always have to return to this nightmare again.

I'm so tired of being tortured by life again. Its like there's someone out there, maybe God, who just finds pleasure in seeing me getting tortured. And I am so tired of it all.

I'm finally going to Therapy but my family want me to quit

A few weeks ago, I attempted suicide because life was getting too bad to the point where I didn't want to live anymore. I went to the hospital because I was scared of dying and was later sent to the Psychiatric Hospital because I admitted I attempted suicide. After staying in the Psychiatrist Hospital for two days, I went back home and started therapy a few days later.

But, my family says, I shouldn't be doing therapy. They said that I can talk to them if I need anything. But here's the thing, I don't have trust in them because they have hurt me in the past. I can go even as far as to admit that they were a big cause in why I attempted suicide. I feel like what they did to me in the past has traumatized me to the point where I lost hope in life. So I can't trust them.

They haven't been supportive ever since I came out of the hospital. They want me to immediately go back to college again even though I don't feel ready yet. They are yelling at me because I went to the hospital and admitted I was suicidal. They said the mental health system will hurt me now because they prey on vulnerable people. They also want to know what I'm saying to the therapist even though I feel uncomfortable telling them.

I really don't know what should I do?

Is it weird that I feel icky whenever I hear about that one Bluey episode?

(Spoilers for Bluey and no shade to the show in general)

So, I used to be a big cartoon person years back and was pretty hyperfixated on them in general. I got recommended a Bluey episode on Youtube called Sleeptime and back then, it emotionally moved me to the point where I wanted to see more Bluey episodes.

And since I wanted to watch more Bluey, I started watching some of the episodes. And this leads me to watch one particular episode that is widely beloved in the Fandom, which is Onesies (Season 3 Episode 31).

To quickly summarize,

It's been four years since Aunt Brandy visited her sister, Chili (Bluey and Bingo's mom). She brings them onesies as presents, which are a zebra onesie for Bingo and cheetah onesie for Bluey. However, the Zebra onesie for Bingo is too big and the Cheetah onesie for Bluey is too small so they swap. However, this causes Bingo to act like a cheetah and the rest of the episode is mostly about everyone running away from Bingo.

Until this one scene where Bluey and Brandy talk. Bluey admits that she wanted a cheetah onesie but it doesn't fit her and Brandy reveals that she wanted something too that couldn't fit her as well.

And Bingo ends up finding them and Brandy and Chili reconcile after Brandy apologizes for not visiting for so long. And now that I'm an antinatalist, I really get why I feel icky about it.

Back then, the part where Brandy implies that she wanted children but couldn't have them really made me feel uncomfortable because I couldn't understand why somebody wanted kids but as an antinatalist. It still makes me feel icky to this day but since this is some kids show, it feels really weird to feel icky about a kids show episode because I'm taking it too seriously.

I'm sorry if this is off topic and a low quality post, but did anyone get banned at r/suicidewatch and r/depression for mentioning that they're an antinatalist?

Recently got banned for life at both subs after I replied to someone in the suicide watch subreddit who said they didn't want to bring children into this world because of all the suffering in this world. I replied "fellow antinatalist" and that ended up getting me banned from both subs.

Am I the only one? Just curious.
