The Xiaomi 17 Max isn't simply a larger-screen variant-​​it packs an 8,000mAh battery, the highest capacity ever seen in a Xiaomi flagship. It also features the first Leica 200MP main camera, and the display panel is carried over directly from the Pro Max.

Given these upgrades, a 300 CNY price increase is still remarkably affordable-​especially in the current climate where RAM and component costs continue to rise.

The standard Honor 600 is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, while the Honor 600 Pro comes with a Dimensity 8550. Both the standard and Pro variants are set to launch on May 28.

The Honor Magic 9 lineup is genuinely impressive this time around. Honestly, seeing these specs got me excited. A standard small-screen variant at 6.3 inches​ finally, someone is taking the premium small-phone segment seriously. This isn't some cheap knockoff; it's a true 6.3-inch device with a comfortable balance between in-hand feel and battery life.

What excites me most is the Arri collaboration. Arri operates at a completely different level cinematic-grade color science and dynamic range. Honor isn't just slapping on a logo; they've tuned the entire imaging pipeline from the ground up. Apple excels at video through its algorithms and ecosystem, but if Arri's cinematic quality is fully realized here, the Magic 9's video capabilities could genuinely compete with the iPhone especially in HDR and skin tone reproduction, which have long been weak points for Android devices.

On top of that, the Honor Magic 9 series may also feature dual biometric security: 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition and 3D face recognition, maximizing the unlock experience. Very few Android devices can match this combination. If the battery capacity starts with an "8" somewhere around 8,000mAh battery anxiety becomes a thing of the past. If the Honor Magic 9 series holds a starting price of 4,999 CNY (735 USD)​, it could very well become the most well-rounded flagship of the second half of this year. Honor has made a seriously bold move this time.

The expected selling price is 1,870 euros in the EU.​

The OPPO Reno X features a 6.39-inch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio, powered by a Dimensity 9-series chip, a 7,000 mAh battery, and a triple camera setup headlined by a 50 MP main sensor. It is expected to launch alongside the Find X10 series.
