Sensory issues from facial hair - anyone else?

I can’t stand the prickly feeling of stubble on my face, so I shave almost every day (my facial hair grows fast unfortunately). However, shaving in itself is a sensory nightmare. The blade pulling on my hairs makes me cringe. I tried growing out my beard once but it was super itchy and I could feel it on my face at all times. Any advice? Anyone else have the same problem?
