Looking for advice from brand managers working in SaaS

I am a designer with a decent years of experience. I have 2 questions now.

  1. I am quite interested in how branding working in SaaS space. So your knowledge and experience would be helpful
  2. Is moving to branding a good move for a designer? Currently I feel burnout in design, I don't know why. I am a person who cares more about generating money and i think i am good at influencing people's perceptions. So I feel like branding would be a good way for me. But I am confused

This overthinking hurts!

So a few years back during my university days, I used to be someone who motivates and inspires people to be their best. But looking at myself today, I'm not where I really wanted to be, even worse I'm not even at the level I used to be during my university days. This makes me constantly think about the people who were inspired to be like me. When I think about creating content or present myself in public spaces, I'm ashamed of the kind of person I've become.

Need help in understanding working side hustle in AI era

I work a day job as a designer, have experience in website designing, social media marketing content, branding, and also I have good writing skills.

I go to office at 8 am and return home mostly by 9 pm. Currently the job market is so uncertain I'm scared of layoffs. So I want to build a safety net for myself.

Also, recently spending long time in the same industry doesn't excite me anymore.

I'm currently looking for side hustle or business ideas I can do in my leisure time and on weekends. I don't wanna waste time anymore.

So if you're crossed this path somehow and something worked for you, please let me know how you did it. I would love to listen to everything now.

Career confusion!

I work as a graphic designer at a SaaS company in Chennai. Previously I worked at an agency for 3 years. But then I made a switch to SaaS and went from 3.6lpa to 5lpa, which I don't feel comfortable right now. I'm not sure if it's industry standards or something. Recently when I spoke to my old friend. We both started our career in design in similar timelines. Today he's making around 16lpa with the same experience, but one difference between both of us is he made around 4 switches and currently working in a consulting setup as senior visual designer. I'm thinking about my decisions right now. I don't want to shift to a new company with the same designation. Confused about everything now.

Does founders really look for a LinkedIn ghostwriter anymore?

I've been thinking of starting of providing LinkedIn ghostwriting services for founders, who wants their expertise to be known beyond sales calls.

But I'm wondering is there a real need for it right now?

Is that really worth of a pain point to solve for a founder?

If you're a founder, would you mind sharing your thoughts on it. And also, if you could mention what pain point could be solved by LinkedIn ghostwriting, that helps too. TIA

I've been looking at these creators creating yap content, I'm wondering how they do it flawlessly. Like you speak with such an aura.

Anyone following these creators or if you're a scriptwriter observing these content types. Would you mind sharing your thoughts here?

Are there any frameworks or script styles followed? or how to plan yap content?

I don't get the point of working from office!

It feels so stupid to carry the same laptop we work at office, but we travel all the way to work there. I don't really get the point of it anymore.

When govt announced every other employee wants WFH, so no one is enjoying it.

But apart from everything, what's the real point of it. I feel we are wasting so much productivity in commute.

How do you define junior designer, senior designer and lead?

I want to understand how companies or design managers define junior level and senior level designers. In terms of thinking, tools expertise, and what else. I want to know a clear definition of people who've been there.

Is it just me or anyone else feels the same?

Spending more than 3 years in design. Did almost everything I possibly can. Now I don't have the same energy and enthusiasm to do design. I don't feel like moving pixels all day at office.

Is this exhaustion common within designers?
