The spooky western ghat stretch from muthalamada , kollengode to nemara.

I have always found the Nelliyampathy Western Ghats stretch through Muthalamada, Kollengode, and Nemmara deeply unsettling. During the day, the huge mountains are beautiful and breathtaking. But as evening falls and mist starts covering the slopes, the whole place feels completely different—dark, eerie, and isolated.

At night, the empty plantation roads and forest edges feel like entering a place cut off from the rest of the world. The silence is heavy, broken only by strange sounds from the jungle. With all the local stories about sorcery and the area's history of secretive groups living in isolation, it is hard not to imagine that somewhere deep in those dark hills and forests, there may still be hidden places where Abhichara rituals are secretly performed at night.

Male 29, M4F kerala 🔁 Bangalore

Malayali male 29, M4F

I'm a childfree man in my late 20s (29), based in Bangalore, originally from Kerala. I work in a corporate operations role and earn a stable living, but my identity isn't built around hustle culture or climbing ladders for the sake of it.

As a person, I value clarity over chaos, depth over noise, and intentional living over default life scripts. I'm introspective, observant, and emotionally aware, not in a performative way, but in how I think, choose, and live day to day. I'm an introverted person, I enjoy quiet routines, long walks, badminton, reflective conversations, litrature, cinema, coastal lifestyle and moments of stillness more than constant stimulation.I'm childfree by conviction. I don't see parenthood as compulsory or inherently meaningful for everyone, and I'm not interested in building a life around it. I want a partnership, not a family project.

I'm looking for a childfree woman who is emotionally mature, self-aware, and comfortable thinking independently someone who values companionship, shared growth, and mutual respect over social validation or ticking milestones. You don't need to be perfectly aligned with me, but you should be clear about who you are and what you don't want. I am looking for a woman under or in the age of 31.

I'm not here out of loneliness or pressure. I'm here because I believe a consciously chosen partnership can be grounding, enriching, and deeply human, when both people are honest about their values. If this resonates and you're looking for something thoughtful rather than rushed, feel free to reach out.

I've always leaned toward the unorthodox, pushing against social expectations instead of quietly fitting into them. It's not about rebellion for its own sake just don't see much value in living a life shaped entirely by other people's rules. I've imagined being with someone who feels that same pull for freedom but hasn't been able to act on it because of family pressure or circumstances. Not someone passive, but someone aware of it, conflicted by it. The idea is to build something together where we back each other, cut through those constraints, and create a life that's actually ours, not one handed down by default.

Just giving a mood board of mine to give a hint about me and my interest.

How popular is CF(child free)/ DINK(dual income no kids) life style palakkad youngsters.

As a child-free (CF) male in my late twenties, born and brought up in Palakkad, I've come to realize how unfamiliar the child-free lifestyle is to many people here. In a place where marriage and parenthood are often seen as natural milestones of adulthood, choosing not to have children can seem unusual, confusing, or even unacceptable to others.

Most people aren't necessarily hostile to the idea; they've simply never considered it a valid life path. For many, the assumption is that everyone will eventually marry, have children, and build their life around family responsibilities. As a result, conversations about being child-free are often met with disbelief, curiosity, or attempts to convince you that you'll "change your mind" later.

What stands out to me is not the judgment itself, but how deeply parenthood is woven into the cultural definition of a successful and meaningful life. The idea that someone can find fulfillment through companionship, personal growth, freedom, hobbies, travel, or other pursuits without becoming a parent remains relatively foreign in many circles.

Screeching noice and vibration in foot peg . (Observation and solution in discription).

I've noticed something interesting with my bike. Whenever I do a cold start at night, I can hear a screeching noise and feel vibrations through the foot pegs. At first, I thought it was chain noise, but it wasn't. Then I suspected there might be an issue with the engine. However, that theory didn't make much sense because the problem only appeared during night-time cold starts, while morning cold starts were always butter-smooth.

After thinking about it more, I started wondering if it could be related to my riding habits. I tend to downshift a bit late and upshift quite early. In other words, I rarely let the lower gears, especially second gear, reach their optimal operating range before shifting up.

This might be a completely wrong or foolish observation, but since consciously changing that pattern and allowing the engine to rev more naturally through the gears, I've noticed a significant difference. The bike feels smoother, and the issue seems less noticeable. I'm not yet sure whether the two are actually connected, but it's an interesting pattern I've observed.

Help : Looking for an Offbeat 3-Day Bike Getaway from Bangalore

Need some trip suggestions.

I've got a bike and 3 days off from work, starting from Bangalore. I'm looking for a peaceful 3-day getaway with good roads, nature, and scenic riding.

I've done the usual rides around Bangalore before, but I've never explored Agumbe or that side of the Western Ghats. Open to routes with forests, mountains, waterfalls, viewpoints, coastal stretches, or lesser-known places worth riding to.

I'm specifically not looking for the usual tourist-cliché spots or crowded Instagram destinations. I'd rather discover places with a bit of character, natural beauty, and a slower pace.

Not interested in rushing through multiple destinations just to tick boxes. I'd rather enjoy the ride, spend some time at the place, and head back relaxed.

What route would you recommend for a solo rider? Any hidden gems, road conditions, monsoon considerations, or stay suggestions would be appreciated.

Has anyone tried fitting this in cb350rs, does it fit well? (In the image: triumph scrambler)

Any one knows someone who does customized grab rail for the bike.
