I had a hip preservation doctor have me get a 3D CT scan of pelvis/lower extremities and have been very concerned about the radiation exposure from that imaging…

Can others provide some peace of mind for me here that I shouldn’t be worried about my long-term health impact now?

I guess the scans ruled out a PAO and suggested either FAI arthroscopy or hip replacement due to things like labrum ossification…kinda wish I would’ve just done the MRI and X-rays…

I realize this is the Outer Wilds subreddit so I’ll get mostly positive reception. But Outer Wilds is currently on sale on Steam and I debate buying it.

I played the game briefly on console and didn’t love the spaceship traversal and couldn’t really tell where to go. However I’m a fan of indie titles and great stories.

A lot of people have Outer Wilds as an all-time game for them, so should I try it again despite my initial issues? Thanks!

With a Dell G3223Q Gaming Monitor - 32-Inch 4K Ultra UHD, what would you recommend for a 2nd monitor?

I lean towards something vertical, maybe 27”? Would the same 4K resolution make sense?

With the summer sale close to ending, this game caught my attention. The essential edition is $2.49 and the definitive edition is $9.99. Is the essential edition worth getting at that price point, or is it a mistake to pass on the definitive version? I’m not sure if the DLC adds enough to be 300% of the base game. Thank you!

I’m hoping to get real world feedback here. Has anyone with both dysplasia and impingement/torn labrum gotten relief from just an arthroscopy treating the impingement and labrum?

I know many people here may recommend a PAO, but I’ve seen multiple PAO specialists who aren’t advising that route. They’re proposing arthroscopy hoping it can relieve pain but make it clear that THR is likely in the future. Any experiences shared would be awesome!
