Hi. Any of you take hormones?? I am 39 yr old and my dr put me on hormones 5-6 months ago because I started having hot flashes.. the hip, join pain and mood swings I had for years I thought was normal and got better once I started taking hrt. 😊 problem is I keep bleeding monthly and my dr keeps telling me i was not supposed to bleed anymore and that it was not normal. I got an ultrasound and everything was normal but the dr keeps stressing me out wanting to do a biopsy 🫠😒.

So.. I went and got a second opinion and this dr told me she thought I was actually taking too much estrogen, I was taking 2mg oral and 200 mg progesterone. Told me I was still producing estrogen and it was not needed it, to just take progesterone.. but if I wanted to still taking it to cut the dose in half, 1mg estrogen. I did it 2 weeks ago and started having hip pain.. luckily the hot flashes haven’t came back.. problem is.. my boobs have been hurting so bad.. like those days when we are about to have our period.. hip and boobs pain.
Is that normal? Or should I get back to her? Could it be possible that I don’t need estrogen?
Anyone taking just progesterone?

Hello. I bought a brand new 2024 hybrid escape 2 years ago. It barely has 15k miles.. I still owe quite the money $26k and of course I am underwater. I have never had ford and not a fan of their reputation.. long term specially.. car is 2 yrs old and has paint chips already.. I drove in city mostly.. I love saving in gas but I am thinking long term, let’s not talk about the cheap material 🫠.
i found a 2012 Toyota Highlander.. 1 owner and amazing maintenance records for $16k.. I could trade it in in a heartbeat for longevity and reliability. ♥️

Is it dumb?? Taking the probably $5k $6k I am underwater and putting it in the new loan.. it will end up owing $20k or so.. if I trade in for the Toyota.. hopefully.

Or is smarter to just stick with the escape? I like to keep my vehicles 10-15 yrs. I bought it new so I have coverage for 7 yrs or 100k miles but after that.. I am on my own. Toyotas are easier to fix.. specially older models and cheap parts. In the escape.. I had an emergency the other day and I could not even access my battery to jump my husbands truck 😩🫠🫠🫠

Hello. Does anyone of you have problems with the paint peeing off? Chips? I bought a brand new 2024 escape hybrid (white) and a couple of months ago I saw the first chip on the passenger door.. I was afraid it will start rusting.. today while washing it I found the second paint chip in the hood.
Are the escapes know for bad quality of paint? Should I contact ford? I live in a cold place and I am afraid it will start rusting with the snow and negative temps for 8 months.

Hello all. I am 38. Dr told me 2 yrs ago or so that I was diabetic.. had a hard time bringing my numbers down until a vegetarian friend told me to try juicing, meals with veggies and cut on meats. I never went 100% vegetarian but didn’t consume as many meats as before.

We had a cook out today and it happened again.. why do I feel nauseous, wanting to throw up when eating meat??

It happened in the past too.

Hello. I live in USA and recently my husband went back to Mexico. He had a deportation order from 20 yrs ago when someone fillied out forms we weren’t supposed to fill to adjust status. Many years went by and lawyers too trying to fix our situation and we never could. Husband got tired and went back to mx. We want to reunite but lawyers charge +$20,000 dlls to submit applications again and hopefully being able to come back to USA in 6 yrs ☹️🤧

Is there any way we could move together to Canada? My job has the option to help me relocate there but with my husband having a in absent deportation in USA we are not sure if he will qualify.

I know for mx.. they can visit Canada with just a Mexican passport but how about residency?

🤪 I just started spiro a week ago. Today is day 7 and the crazy painful, red cyst acne that I got lately (after starting hormonal therapy) is finally going away. I don’t have any more red and inflamated pimples and they seems to be drying up. 🩷

but my skin and face so so dry.. even my eyelids hurt. My hands are constantly dry, my lips… and on top of that.. I am not using the bathroom as smoothly and before.🤪

Do you girls take fiber? How do you hydrate yourself? Any dry skin???

I am 38 and was just put on hrt just 4 month ago. I went to my check up and dr keep kind of “advising” that I could go in a higher dose since I am still young and not producing any estrogen.

What dose do you take?

I am in 1mg estrogen in pill and 100 mg estrogen. I feel good so far but not sure if I should increase it..

And I see a difference already. Dr recently put me on hormonal therapy and my hormonal acne came back with revenge!! Red, painful cyst pimples that didn’t come down with anything. Dr put me on spiro last Friday and what a difference. Has been barely 5 days and I have no more redness.. the pimples are still there but seems to be drying out. Haven’t get a new one neither.

For how long have you take it? Dr send me to take 100mg which I take 50 in morning and 50 at night.. and told me once acne goes down that I could lower the dese just for maintenance.. that sounds long term medication??

Hello all. I bought a brand new hybrid escape last yr. I have perfect credit. Apr was 5.99 and I pay $500 a month. I don’t like payments at all 🫠 I still owe $28.000.

I have $20k in savings and $50k in 401k.. but also.. we will need money because I am pregnant and no health insurance..

I been thinking about pull the bullet and pay it off today.. what’s the best strategy to do it?

Borrow $10k for 401 and use all of my savings?

Use $10k from saving and leave $10k for pregnancy and delivery and use the rest from 401k??

My boss told me borrowing from my 401 was not too bad because I will pay back myself in time and with interest.. o am not sure how this works..

I was put on estradiol pills and progesterone but I keep reading most everyone are in patches..

Hello all. I don’t have health insurance and I guess that’s the reason why my dr put me in estrogen pills.. I would like to find out how much would I pay if I switch to patches? I am taking 2mg estrogen in pills

I guess is hormonal acne.. big, red, inflamed cyst acne all over my jawline. I started hormonal replacement therapy just 2 months ago and even tho I have always had acne.. now is worst..what’s causing it?

Hello. I started hrt 2 months ago and my face is terrible.. 😞 I have always suffered acne.. it comes and go.. but now is worst.. adding a balanced hormone regimen is not helping at all. Had any of you got acne too? How did you treat it? Is it the estrogen causing it? Or progesterone?

Hello all. I been on hrt for a month and been feeling well. Hot flashes are gone and join aches too. I went back for a check up and she asked me a couple of times if i needed more 😅

she said before I was depleted of estrogen and she put me in the lower dose.. and wanted to add a little more. I been feeling good.. or I guess I didn’t know how sick I was until I got better so I told her no. I was ok.

I am 38 so I think being in lower dose is safer anyways)

But what are the signs when you need to adjust the dose? Any symptoms I need to watch for? I am in 100 mg progesterone and 1 estradiol. Only bad side effect I had is acne.. big cyst and painful acne. She told me my body was purging but prescribed spironolactone.
