Should I take this Apple Watch alert seriously?
Let me preface: I know sleep apnea is serious. Not questioning that. Questioning my exact alert scenario.
I got a possible sleep apnea alert this morning - wondering if I need to take this seriously or not.
My disturbances have been fine until April or so, but it finally triggered today… I was also at my heaviest in April and started working out a few weeks ago. I know excess weight triggers some apnea and it goes away with weight loss.
I’m also an insomniac and eat before bed and have reflux and other crap so I’m not sure if something in that combo is also what set it off. I’ve also been fully waking up while I sleep a lot the past month so idk if it sees that and it thinks that’s apnea. Some days I’ll just wake up and fall back asleep and fully remember it, just restless sleep.
Since I started going to the gym it’s been mostly trending down again so I’m conflicted.
Should I get this checked out or is this just Apple Watch being imperfect / my weight?
I attached my past year graph and the alert I got.
