Hey all -

My 2022 Wind was basically a lemon that couldn’t be repaired after 6 attempts, so I traded it in.

I tried to get a 2024 GT Line from Carvana, but it ended up coming in awful shape and they are refusing to cover the damage the “no cosmetic issues” car arrived with… so it’s going back to them.

I have a lead on a good price, lower mileage 2022 GT Line and I’m pretty sure there’s no major differences between any of the pre-refresh years as far as I remember, but just want to verify.

Only things I remember is:
- Preconditioning may need to be manually enabled via update on 2022s
- 2024 has the charge port light

Am I missing anything else of note?

Returning my car. They said Friday between 8-11 for pickup and return. Do they send some sort of email or something as confirmation for the return being scheduled?

I don’t see any change in my profile or anything to notate that it has been scheduled or anything so I’m just worried as I don’t want some sort of mistake to happen where the return isn’t done or something.

Just curious - I see some people saying they couldn’t sell their car because the OBD reader wouldn’t connect… I have an appointment to trade for a new EV tomorrow and I’m trading in my old one… I’ve read they use FIXD scanners which aren’t EV compatible.

Anyone know who has sold an EV to them?

Just started CPAP two Tuesdays ago.

I tried the N30i, but I wake up in the middle of the night feeling like I’m suffocating - I need the mouth piece.

I switched to the F30i and no more waking up thinking I’m suffocating… but I had to add a mask liner and cover to make it comfortable enough to sleep in. It bugs my nose a little bit, but way more comfortable than without the liner and cover…

The main issue? My seal is awful. 34.8, 42, 43.2, 46.8 - keeps going up even though I’ve made it as tight as possible without being uncomfortable. The only night I used it without the cover and liner, I got 15.6… but it’s just too sticky and uncomfortable without.

I guess I’m kinda lost at where to go - still have return policy time and want to get this locked down.

Mostly, I need a mask that:
- Works for tossing and turning: I move between my back and side
- Prefer a tube over my head instead of down my body
- Covers my mouth for breathing through it
- Perhaps goes above my nose instead of under? Not sure I’m super into the “under nose” like some are.

According to the lists on ResMed’s websites, the ones it recommends for both mouth and toss/turn are:
- AirFit F40
- AirTouch F30i Clear
- AirFit F20
- AirTouch X30i

Any recommendations?

Hey all -

Looking at a car. $690 to ship. Still shows $690 even if I choose to pickup with my actual address entered. If I change my delivery address to the location it’s sitting at (Schaumburg), the shipping fee disappears immediately.

Supposedly the advocate said if the system allows me to move forward with setting my delivery address to the pickup location in Schaumburg (I just entered the address of the Vending Machine there) it shouldn’t be an issue and the verification team will review it. They said Iowa is a self-registration state so I handle it directly with the Iowa DMV.

Does this sound legit or is there a risk of encountering issues? Not sure how trustworthy the advocates are or not - first time doing this.

I’m absolutely willing to drive the 3 hours to save almost $700, lol - but I’m not willing to massively screw up the order for it.

Hey all -

Looking at buying a car from Carvana, but the vast majority of the one I’m looking at require shipping fees - I live about 4 hours away from a hub, so not super unexpected.

I suppose I’m okay with paying the $1800 for it or whatever. I’m not thrilled or anything, but the car I want would require a drive out of state and such anyways… so it’s kinda “it is what it is”.

My only concern is the non-refundable part of that fee. I’m concerned that buying a car sight unseen may result in me getting a car I’m not happy with for whatever reason - that’s part of the reason I’m excited to use Carvana, actually. If I get a bum car at a dealer I’m just screwed, but Carvana I won’t be stuck with it.

My concern though… if I return it and pick another car, do I have to pay that fee again? I hope if you return a car for another car that they’d probably waive the shipping fee on the next one or something, but I’m not sure how this works or anything because I haven’t seen really anyone talk about it.

Is it just a hard “no you’re not getting your money back”, or have they “made it right” in some way if you get a car that’s significantly not as described?

I’m hoping it’ll just go well and it’s a moot point, but I don’t want to go in unprepared as this is my first time using them.

EV fwiw, so I think the chances of getting a bad car are much lower… but still.

Hey all -

Started CPAP this Tuesday with the ResMed AirSense 11.

They said I could have any mask I wanted and they recommended the nasal pillows because they’re minimal and the tube comes in on top of your head instead of in front of you, which I liked the idea of… so I picked the N30i.

Problem is: first night I could barely sleep - I only got about two hours because I kept waking up and the air going into my nose only was almost suffocating. Night two: did better, but I had a hell of a time getting my mask comfortable on my nose and my leak rate was 27.6 L/min. Got 7 hours. Both nights I had AHI of 2.8 and 2.4 respectively. I also don’t think I like the top head mount thing as much as I thought I would - feels like it’s tugging even with a tube holder. I tend to shift positions between my back and side throughout the night.

I don’t think I mouth breathe a ton or anything, but when I’m trying to go to sleep and I try to breathe through my mouth, it almost feels like suffocating and extremely uncomfortable. I can feel the air coming from the CPAP in my nose and it just feels hard to breathe. If I force myself to only use my nose and not open my mouth… it’s fine, but it’s definitely a challenge.

My question: should I keep trying to get used to the N30i or should I try a different mask? My supplier said I have a 30 day return policy, so no real issues there… just wondering how long I should give it until I call it a day and try a new one? I don’t particularly love the idea of a full face mask… but if it helps me breathe without suffocating myself…

Also, any suggestions on what mask(s) to try also if you recommend trying another? Thanks!

Hey all -

I’m concerned about my orange kitty (2 years 9 months) and honestly dumbfounded as to what is wrong with him…

Yesterday, he started acting super odd. He stayed under the couch a ton, would come out when I lured him out, but soon after he went back under. He wouldn’t eat unless I put him up by his feeder and wouldn’t drink unless I put him up by his fountain. Litter Robot reports he didn’t use the box since 6 AM on 7/21. He usually goes 2-3 times a day. He seems like he’s like low to the ground prowling, almost like he’s looking for something. Sniffing a ton. Easily startled. Shedding like crazy. Apprehensive to jump down from his post where his food and water are. Walking sideways almost while he prowls. It’s like something is watching him or something and he’s spooked almost.

I freaked out late last night and drove him to the emergency vet. They said he’s fine. His bladder wasn’t full or anything. They ran labs including urine analysis and they said he looks great - not shocking as he was just at the vet last week. My parents took him home with them last night as they lived closer to the vet (over an hour away) and it was after midnight and I had work, so I only stayed for the initial consult and drove back, but they kept me updated.

They said he seemed normal today - wasn’t hiding. I just got him back and he seems to be eating and drinking normally after I placed him near it like usual, but he still seems very on guard and stuff.

I’m at a loss - I haven’t changed anything about his environment or anything… I live in an apartment and I have another cat - they aren’t besties or anything but they tolerate each other and usually he’ll play attack her and she runs off hissing, you get the story. Nothing changed that i can think of and I’m just really concerned.

Any advice? :(

Got an A1 mini for Christmas and just finally started setting it up. I have ADHD and badly need organization, lol. I found Gridfinity and I want it to be my first project, but I’m so confused on where to start. Apologies if these are noob questions, but I am a noob:

For starters: I understand I need a base first.

The issue is: I see about 70 different variations and can’t choose which I want, lol.

Basically, what I envision is just a grid that can connect together with other ones, as I know the A1 mini won’t be able to print one that is nearly big enough for one of my drawers.

Preferably I would like to do this without glue or anything like that and want it to sit flush in my drawer.

Expanding on that a bit: how do I separately print each chunk anyways? Like let’s say I need 4 grids to go in my drawer… how do I split it into separate jobs that will fit on my printer and then connect them all together as I said above?

Apologies again if these are dumb questions - I’m just a 3D printing noob and very overwhelmed… but I really want to get into this!

I posted here awhile back about getting a “possible sleep apnea” notification from my Apple Watch. I wasn’t sure how seriously to take it, but I was told it’s very accurate.

Finally got my sleep study done Friday with the WatchPAT - sadly you guys were right:

“This study was scored utilizing AASM scoring rule 1B for scoring of hypopneas (4% desat) although 3% desaturations were also monitored. Snoring occured for 35.5 minutes (7.8% of total valid sleep time). There
were 101 total events (AHI 4%) of which 0 were central and 101 were apneas/hypopneas. There were 130 total events (AHI 3%) of which 0.00 were central and 130 were apneas/hypopneas. The total Apnea/Hypopnea index (AHI 4%) was 13.3 per hour. The total Apnea/Hypopnea Index (AHI 3%) was 17.1 per hour. The total Respiratory Disturbance index (RDI) was 22.7 per hour.

Baseline O2 saturation during sleep was 93% with a nadir of 86%. The Oxygen Desaturation index (ODI) was
16.6 per hour. 0.6 minutes total were spent with saturations <89%.“

MyChart spoiled it for me since you can usually see them there earlier. I haven’t heard back from my doctor atp, but I just feel so defeated and lost.

They say they want to either call me in for an in-lab sleep study which I’m not excited at all about as I cannot sleep in environments that aren’t my home, or start me on “a trial of empiric AutoPAP 5-20 cm H2O with mask of choice with close office follow up care”.

I’m only 26 (M) and I’ve been working on myself and everything lately to get my weight down. I’m down over 10 pounds (237.3 to 226.8, I’m 6 foot) since the beginning of May. I’ve been consistently working out for the first time ever. I’m gaining some muscle. My Apple Watch disturbances have been trending down considerably.

I just feel like all this hard work has been for nothing. I know it hasn’t as being healthy is still good, but it still feels like a major setback. I don’t want to have yet another thing on my laundry list of conditions. It’s just… a lot.

Not sure what the purpose of this post is… just venting I guess and upset and need people who maybe understand to listen - maybe help me interpret them… maybe even give me hope that maybe this isn’t permanent… I’m just sad.

First, some backstory: I’ve had a 2022 EV6 Wind AWD since 2024, and it’s been nothing but a PITA.

It’s been in the shop for:
- Trim falling off the driver side
- More trim falling off the back drivers side
- Sensor damage, undercarriage damage from the last owner apparently treating it very poorly - $2500 out of my pocket
- More sensor damage (parking assist not working, had to replace another harness or something)

Now, my automatic brights have been intermittent (seems to have maybe resolved itself, but concerned as to why it occurred to begin with) and the parking assist is, you guessed it, broken again. Also, my window trim is messed up - I think defective, has splotches and such.

I know it’s not the car / platform’s fault I’m having so many issues, as my friend and parents both have EV6s - he has had no issues and my parents have had the ICCU issue but it has been perfect since. Pretty much everyone concurs this is my specific car being mistreated and having damage covered up at purchase.

I checked and I have ~$1k-$4k in positive equity at this point depending on where I trade in, and this car has already cost me over $2.5k in less than two years and it’s looking like it may cost me more again. I’m going to the dealer to get it checked after I get home from vacation, but needless to say I’m not impressed and not interested in sinking any more into this money pit.

Anyways, all that aside…

Looking at swapping into an EV6 GT Line to make me feel like I at least got a little bit of an upgrade - I really just want the same car that works as I love my car… when it’s fully working. EV6 GT Line AWDs seem to be going pretty quick on Carvana for lower mileage without concerning pictures, and there’s none at dealers near me… was wondering if maybe I should expand my search to include Ioniq 5 Limited as well?

I haven’t necessarily looked much at Ioniq 5s, but I do think the exterior is pretty cool looking - I’d say it’s a toss up between it and the EV6 for me. I must say, however, that I generally prefer the interior on the EV6. I also don’t love the idea of the extra blue coolant to manage… but otherwise the Ioniq 5 definitely intrigues me a bit - the panoramic sunroof looks really cool, for example!

So after my big ramble… what sold you guys on the Ioniq 5 vs the EV6? I’m obviously familiar with the overall platform and everything and I know I like it… just curious if there’s something I’m really missing out on with the Ioniq 5 that may push me over the edge?

Just curious, is Carvana still fairly lenient on their trade in guidelines?

I traded in a Bolt a couple years ago and marked “very good” and got full value even though seat was worn, some paint chip fill ins that looked awful, etc.

Looking to trade in my EV6 and upgrade to a newer one and higher trim, but my car def has some gouges in the plastic inside the trunk, some paint chips, tons of microscratches (it’s black)… bumper was also repaired after I hit a pile of wood, but they didn’t flag it as an accident on carfax or anything - probably because I didn’t hit someone else, lol.

Should I still mark “very good” and no for the rest and let them adjust if they feel like it?

Not sure if that’s changed recently…

I pretty much am sold on it - have learned I don’t like folding phones, not thrilled with Google’s recent antics… blah blah. Getting offered a good trade in value.

Mainly I’m concerned as to the recent pulling out of Best Buy and the rumors about OnePlus leaving the US (where I live). It seems like a perfect phone, but I don’t want to buy a phone that isn’t getting software updates…

Should I pull the trigger? Or look into something else.
