Impossible to Get Assassin to Surrender in Old Prison
I've been trying and failing to figure out some way to complete this encounter without dying. First of all, my strength is not high enough to succeed on the attack rolls. So winning through damage is not an option. I dumped it for Wisdom and Constitution and per my build. So I'm left with attempting to get them to surrender. But for some reason, the prompt to appeal to them on Round 3 refuses to appear. I only have the option to attack. What am I missing? Did I do something wrong in previous fights? Notably, I've never dealt a *single* instance of damage to the assassin, always just rolling Wisdom to try to figure them out, while Snell has been the one attacking. Can someone explain this to me and possibly offer advice how to get passed this?
