My best seedling bloom this spring. 2024 cross. Very nice but only 4 buds and kinda small, so probably wont breed from it. Def a keeper for the garden, though. Almost Border Bearded category.
Somebody posted an extension to their kickstand, and I cant find it to see what they did. Need just a wee bit more sticking out
Yes, I know its not fully up in the pic. Was holding bike up with one hand taking photo with other!
What's everyone's best and worst scores on easy? My worst is El Dorado with a measly -11. Best is Forgotten Fairyland with -25.
Alice's is a close 2nd worst with -12
30 yrs ago I was eyeball deep into iris and breeding. I made a cross with Thornbird (Ive since lost all records so dont know the other parent). Over the yrs Ive made further crosses with that line to the point Im probably 7 or 8 generations down. (see below)
The yellow here (I call Driven) is from that line at least 15 yrs ago, the only 1 I had left. 2 yrs ago a crossed it with another unknown and this mustard with horns just opened this morning! Its a great plant; Looks like 8 or so buds, easily over 36" stalk, 5 fans on a 2 yr old plant.
I have a mature Yellow Halichoeres chrysus in an 8' reef setup. Bought a young (smaller than I realized) silver belly Halichoeres leucoxanthus and he is getting bullied. Not attacked, just followed enough to get pushed up into the corners. I hung him in a big net yesterday to give him some rest, but forgot they like to sand sleep. Seems fine this morning, but what do you recommend? I dont think there's any way I can catch the H. chysus due to the volume of rock and length of the tank.
