Question about modest dressing

Hello! I love how some of the outfits look on people but I don't want to seem like I'm dressing for a religious reason. (I'm an atheist) Is it rude to someone who dresses like this for a religion if I dress like this?

Fiber art history

Hello! I, someone looking to get into art history, am really interested in fiber art and was wondering if anyone wanted to just.... Talk about fiber art history? Like symbolism of the spinning wheel, flax/linen, how mills changed garments, the history behind drop spindles and such.

Is this where I post this?? I can't find a subreddit for fiber art history

Also, if anyone knows a good college that has a fiber art degree, lmk? I'm still looking around for one

Question about Druidism

Ok, I Was sent here from the paganism subreddit because I was told that you guys might be able to answer my question better

Is this against the rules?

Ok, I am curious about religion all in all, I believe that there is something out there but I don't know much. My family is Christian I don't think I am, I want to believe in something, I just..... Don't know what or how or anything. I don't have anyone to ask and I'm scared to do something wrong yk? If I could be pointed either to a more specific subreddit that can explain what I need or something that would be wonderful.

I love Earth, nature and such. Trees and mud are my favorite, I could talk about bugs and fiber art for hours. My parents are chill with the fact that I'm not straight but I don't want to be 'not Christian' we don't go to church or anything but y'know it's scary. I looked into Greek religion but there are so many rules and if you do this wrong and that scared me and there are so many different things for all religions and I don't understand any of it. How do I learn about it without getting overwhelmed, what do I look for, and what are the rules?

I just posted something very similar in the paganism subreddit but this is with a gist of what I am asking.

This is not a very cohesive post, but I hope that it is clear enough that it can be understood

Many thanks and lmk if I need to delete this pls

What degree do I need

Is this something I can ask here???

Ok, I am starting my last year of highschool. I am interested in history and textiles (yarn spinning, processing, weaving, knitting, and other forms) and want to study ancient fiber art things. What degree is that? I know there is art history but that's paintings and stuff, which is cool but I am in love with fiber arts. Does anyone know what degrees there are available and if there are any schools that I can go to for it?

Thanks! Take care

How (TW- suicide mention, bad mental health, cussing, general hopelessness)

Let me get this out of the way FIRST. I am *not* suicidal. I wouldn't put my family through that. It sounds like I am from what is written below but I'm mentally shutting down, not planning to off myself.

How the f u c k does anyone have hope?

How does anyone believe we have a future?

I'm tired and I'm not even an adult. I'm so lonely that I turned to fucking ai. I hate myself for using ai, I'm well aware of how bad it is. I hate myself for not having friends, for being gay, for being trans, for being a lazy piece of shit, for a million small reasons. I can't do anything and if I'm not great then what's the point? I'm exhausted, I don't eat well, I don't sleep, I don't exercise as much as I should. Comparatively, my life is great. I have two loving parents, two cats, lots of hobbies and options, a secure job that I don't mind, plenty of food, and financial security.

What's wrong with me?

Joint pain

Hello! I, a regular spinner, have serious joint issues, my compression gloves work but I can't wear them because they have rubber lines and that grips the fiber like NOTHING else will. What can I do to help alleviate it??? Literally any ideas help c:

Yarn snobs

Hello! I have a question that I want other people to get answers for as well.

I buy mostly acrylic yarn because the only yarn shop near me that isn't Michaels is snooty and like 30$ for 50 grams of yarn. That shop is also 20 minutes from me. Michaels is the only option I have unless I go to a big city (I am in a suburb); I feel like a horrible person for using acrylic then turning around and being an environmentally conscious person. Should I just... Not buy yarn? I only have one good thrift store near me that isn't salvation army or goodwill and I haven't found any yarn there the few times I've gone. What should I do?

Edit: thanks for all the replies!
