Replacing MIJ JM66B with Player II Jazzmaster?

It basically comes down to function over form. My gut says "keep the JM66B, it oozes with mojo". My brain says "The Player II will fit you better and get more use".

Don't ever use the trem system or rythm circuit, so the hotter pickups, flatter fretboard radius and smoother neck, seem very appealing right now.

So aside from that, I'm wondering if I'd feel any difference in overall quality. Unfortunately, I'll have to order the new one sight unseen. With a good return policy though, but I'd still like to be a little prepared.

I'm also kinda second guessing the value ratio here. Even in today's economy, €820ish (€960 for the FSR one in green), seems a bit much for a MIM Fender that doesn't come with a case. And I'm not even sure what I could get for my Japanese Jazzmaster, but assuming it won't be much more then €90....I'm seriously doubting if this'd be a smart move.

TLDR: anyone maybe have first hand experieces with both a MIJ Jazzmaster of that era as well as one of the new Player II Jazzmasters? The latter would make most sense for someone who craves a fast neck and plays with lotsa gain most of the time? Any other suggestions?

The Kata Dante, the Dance of the Deadly Hands, is a self-defense technique that allows anyone to defeat anybody, anywhere, at whatever time and weather. This self-defense technique is so dangerous and lethal, it is maybe illegal everywhere besides North Korea and Switzerland.

Unsafe at any speed

I see this sub has been turned into a repost karma farming party. Yay. So here I repost something I napped off Naver four years ago - ice on a bridge in Korea, with someone really running for their life.

Shoes & training for my first marathon? (22km)

Can't choose two flaires, but i essentially have two questions.

So to get to it, i've been using VIbram five finger shoes for the last 10 years or so. I love everything about them, but ppl has been telling me not to use them in the marathon that i'm gonna participate in aproximately 1 year. The entire stretch is only paved road & ppl are worried the surface will be too hard for my shoes.

So does anyone have any experience running marathons on hard surface with barefoot shoes?

follow up question, does anyone have any tips or reccomendations for how to train for the upcoming marathon?:)

Going from 0 to 22km with 1 year to train basically....

Commute Results

3 Caribiners... Worked alright . Strapping the boots as close to the body as possible seems like the goal. Couldn't figure out how to edit a previous post but I'm pleased with the quality of the cheaper running vest. Thanks to all those that weighed in. Catch y'all later.
