The science nerd in me is bugged out that aliens use plasma weapons and are able to shoot matter, that has lower densities than in gas state and are literally so energized that the bonding forces between protons/neutrons and electrons start to "fail".

But halo at least not just turned plasma weapons into high energy weapons that are makeshift laser weapons like in star wars, instead they give those "projectiles" at least a gassy nature and make the big ones slow, like the turrets, wraiths and charged up plasma pistols.

Is there any explanation given how the covenant manages to shoot plasma?

Are they useful in battles?

I tried them out with the fw 190 and got hyped when I ammo racked the Köln before the bomb even exploded but when I created a custom match with bots to test them out, I only managed to get through the aa once and it barely did anything to a destroyer.

Was it bad luck or aren't they worth it?

And is testflight just bugged or the mechanic in general?

Tried multiple bombs, from 250-2500kg and sometimes they skipped perfectly but sometimes only bounced once, lost all energy and sunk.

Was around 420-450 km/h and at 20-30m, I used the virtual cockpit to make sure that the flypath indicator is perfectly level

How the fuck you stay alive with it? Is it even good? I got it on release because it was an op sl grinder, but after that I took a long break and then, when I played naval, I only used German cruisers and BBs.

Yesterday I played the moffet again but every match was the same.

Felt like the whole enemy team has chosen me for a target and even when I was behind an island, as soon as the trajectory allowed it, it rained shells from everywhere.

I couldn't even fire probably because I had to maneuver the whole time trying to stay alive.

Is it even worth it playing after they changed naval?

I play RB but even there it's much easier to grt hit because of the lead indicator and that little screen that tells you how far you miss and so on.

On top of that, i just got hit by mclos or saclos missiles in a slight downtier??

I couldn't even dodge them.

Anyone who can tell me how to play it or if it is even worth playing it?

Just started stockgrinding the j39C.

I remember rightfully complaints about top tier stock grind for years about not even getting countermeasures.

Dude you have to stock grind a jet and have to face fucking fox 3s with no chaff?

And as I checked the available loadout, I noticed, that dumb bombs and rockets are for free.

It's like "oh you want something to defend yourself? Nah here take some weapons you can't drop above mach one and won't destroy enough targets anyways".

Seriously, what they expect us to do with it? Ditch the only missiles you got for some bombs to try to bomb bases? Or do some non rewarding Cas?

Can someone tell me what the hell is wrong with it? I know you get the rewards from damage, not kills and assists alone but still, I want some fucking credits for my work..

Last match, I continously destroyed modules, also the bridge and so on, caused fires but all what happened was, that the highlighting of my target disappeared and some bot got the kill.

Same happened to 2 other targets.

I sank one with 2 ammo magazine hits.

Got the notification, saw the explosion and the first one caused it to get flooded quickly.

Then my next barrage went straight through the deck into the ammo in the rear and after that it rapidly sunk.

Never managed to get a ship sink that quick.

Still not even an assist

I'm specially looking for a F-16 multirole fighter mod with updated graphics.

I don't know what's possible in general, but that one project for nfsu 2 got me curious.

It's not a legendary title like nfsu 2 but I have hopes that some nostalgic maniac might gave the game some love too, I would if I would have the skills and time for that

My brother modded 2 Xbox a few years ago, with a new os, bios and made sure it could handle pal and ntsc, plus the hdmi converter cable.

And he told me something about Roms with texture mods.

So my question is, how far can those texture mods go? I saw only a handful games really are made for the full 720P, are there mods that convert other games to that resolution too?

And how far can you go with the hardware? How much could you upgrade it without ripping everything out and just build a new console in a Xbox case?

Is it even possible to upgrade RAM. CPU and GPU? I can solder basic stuff myself, my brother could solder more filigrane stuff and I also have connections to a company, that manufactures electronics and they already did some custom work.

So replacing some chips might be no big issue.

My main goals would be increasing the visibility in some games like men of valor (i can't see shit there) and moto gp. When you go fast, the vision gets blurry to the point, I can't even tell where the track is, don't know if it's a compatibility issue with modern TVs or that I'm just spoiled with modern games.

On top of that, i loved playing blazing angels but after playing it again, I noticed how much they used blurry textures, probably to hide issues. Especially in this pearl harbor mission with the scramble on the ground.

When I was a kid, my dad bought us a Xbox and 3 disks.

I don't know if they were a bundle with the console or not.

One disk had Sega Gt and jet set radio on it, plus a teaser for another futuristic game.

Some one remember this disk? And can tell me, what game that was?

And another game was a fighting game with a fighter holding a circular blade (when I remember it right) and once we played it secretly, I think it was fighting in a arena or something. Maybe Arena was even in the title but I'm not sure

I tried out hosbo and spice bombs and managed to somehow drop the spice bombs from far away and lock the targets with the new bomb view.

But the bombs just sail past my GPS point, is that normal or am I doing something wrong?

Also how I drop the hosbos with a GPS target? Can't tell me the only way is locking an ir target even from 100km away..

Got a problem with my ThinkPad E490.

Earlier today, my laptop was still working but now it's dead and when I put the cable in, the LED stays off.

The port is a bit worn out but I checked for dirt and cleaned it but it didn't worked.

The cable works fine on my phone, (says super quick charge).

Google said an option is hard reset by pressing the power button for 30-60 seconds.

Also did nothing.

I think the port is done but before I do anything, I wanted to ask, if I can try anything else.

What's the best way to get c4 kills on naval strike maps?

The only map, that at least some times gets into rotation, is wavebreaker and whenever I lay down c4, the enemy suddenly comes from behind or I miss the moment, thanks to the poor damage radius.

Is there an efficient way?

Even tried to wait for a boat but whenever I attempt to attach c4, they have a massive bump in situational awareness or someone else kills them.

Or they just "run" me over.

Are there still enough players for pc and lobbies without hacker?

Like in the title said, are there any EU hardcore servers, with a kill limit for helicopters and shit like that?

I like hardcore because you don't have to dump a whole mag into enemies but those virgins, who play every second of every day of their miserable life's in tanks and helis since the game got released, ruins every match on maps with these vehicles.

Is there anything I can do against that crap? I play EU servers only (German) and I only have server problems with warthunder lately but their hamster, who powers the server, has many strokes Lately so it effects everyone.

Is there anything I can do? I'm often the only one with spiking ping but can't be my internet.

Thanks to that stupid forced Windows 11 Upgrade, I have to find a new Mainboard and CPU.
