Donation payments

So I just started donating and I’m currently doing it under one of the offered promotions. My question is for more veteran donors, how much do you typically get per donation (when not doing a promotion or deal), is it worth it to keep donating even though the regular payments will not match the donation rate ?

Injection pain

I’m currently on bimzelx and I absolutely dread doing the injections. I have been on both cosentyx and humira over a span of 5 years, and bimzelx by far takes the cake in pain when injecting. I do my normal routine, taking it out for a couple hours, numbing the area with an ice pack, injecting in my stomach. But it hurts so bad and the worst part is it helps my HS so it’s like I have to take it, my weeks are all messed up in dosing because I genuinely put it off for like a week which isn’t good I know. But this shit should be in pill form😂 wish me luck about to inject

MOH Dress

Okay I need your opinions on which dress I should wear for my sisters wedding. So the last slide is the color of the dresses we will be wearing, the other colors are just “demos”. I personally like the pink one since it flatters my flat ass. What do you guys think? (Ignore that I can’t zip it I have a bigger bust, and ignore the bra, and my fat ass arms and back fat and my scarred skin, JUST look at the dress honestly lol)

EDIT: Since some people are confused, I’m asking about the style of the dresses, NOT the color. The color is not able to be changed because it’s not my wedding !!

Help !!

Okay so I’m currently 25. My rap sheet is I have about 20k in student loan debt that I am not making payments on currently (was apart of the SAVE plan and now IDR. I have been on worker compensation for the past 2 years due to a work injury so my yearly income is very low, making me eligible for the income driven repayment plan.) I also have about 10k left on my car. Those are my only forms of debt besides when I use my credit card for cash back purposes but it never exceeds $300. I currently have $16k in savings, which due to my low income for the last 2 years I consider it not bad but not the best. My monthly bills consist of my car payment, groceries, gas, storage unit and things like that. Very fortunate to not have to pay rent during this time due to my amazing family members !! But I just feel like I am stuck and don’t have a plan.

I will get cleared to go back to work within the next month, before I got hurt I was working 60 hours a week as a CNA and will most likely be returning to the same job field but an increase in pay due to a location move. At this point in time, do I look into a HYSA ? I don’t know much about them or which ones are reliable. But since when I go back to work I’ll be consistently making a lot more money than I am now, I want to have a plan so I don’t stray into shopping (definitely an addict). I know some people will say to start paying off debt, and I will do that immediately once my paychecks are more than $2,000 a month lol😓.

But what tips do you guys have that helped you ? TIA I think I’m struggling with this more mentally because I’ve spent the last 2 years not doing anything at all besides being in pain and hundreds of doctors appointments and 6 surgeries, and so I’m starting to want to save more and have a plan. Cause life be lifeing.

Biolife

Okay question since I can’t get ahold of my local center and only representatives that can’t answer location specific questions.

I want to donate, my current temporary address is within donating range (where I sleep). My drivers license still has my old address on it (I know this is not a problem as I tried to donate in college and they took my old address drivers license and a bill with my current address on it). The problem is they ask for current local address, well currently I am living with my brother. I don’t pay bills here or receive my mail here because I receive it at a PO Box that is still within donation range. Will they accept this or no ? My main issue is I don’t want to have to wake up early and drive there just to be turned down because it’s happened before when I was in North Dakota due to being unhealthy.

So in love

Alright my last post was basically a unanimous vote to get the Chelsea and my man agreed. I will no longer be allowed in a coach store for a while, 2 bags in 1 week is ridiculous but I technically only paid for one myself 😛

Will these ever come back ?

Wondering if the Aerie Go-To Slouchy Sweatpants will ever come back ? I bought one pair and then was in the hospital so I didn’t get to try it on until 2 months later. I literally fell in love with them and then went to order another pair and they were all gone. I even tried to look in store and no luck. Does anyone know if the street trouser is pretty similar ?

I want them all

My first bag was the Terri shoulder, just bought this today for getting a new job. I’m so obsessed I need all of them in this style and colors. I wish there was a size bigger than this but smaller than the large sized one, it’s huge.

What would you do in my position ?

So I’m at a crossroads career wise and I genuinely don’t know what the smartest move is anymore. I have my master’s in Exercise Science and Wellness: Fitness and Performance along with my ACSM-EP certification. The problem is I don’t really have much experience besides internships from undergrad, and I’m not finding much luck getting into the exercise physiologist field. Most of the EP jobs I do see would probably require me to move states, and honestly I refuse to do that at this point in my life unfortunately.

Originally during undergrad my plan was PT or OT school. But realistically I just couldn’t make it work financially. I’ve always been super independent and had to work full-time plus part-time just to pay bills. During my bachelor’s degree it worked because it was during Covid and I only had like one in-person class a semester. PT or OT school obviously wouldn’t be like that and I don’t think I could survive not working much for multiple years.

And yes, before anyone says it, I know I probably should’ve researched job options better before going for my master’s. I know. I didn’t. And honestly I regret it.

Now I’m considering massage therapist school. The program would only be 4.5 months long from October to February, and the schedule is Monday-Thursday 8:30-5 which would still let me work nights or weekends part-time. Honestly it seems way more realistic financially and lifestyle wise.

Part of me feels bad because I already have a master’s degree, but another part of me feels like I need to be practical. If I ever did go fully back to school it would probably be nursing, not PT/OT. I honestly think doctorate-level schooling would be too much for me and sometimes I don’t think I’m smart enough for it lol.

What do you think ?

Income Approval

Currently unemployed due to a work injury and on workers comp, but I should be cleared to work again within the next month and job hunting has actually been going really well so far. Doing multiple interviews but no offers yet as most of these jobs have a 2-step interview process.

My issue right now is getting approved for an apartment. I have about $17k in savings, a 770 credit score, and 5 years of solid rental history with no issues. The problem is my current workers comp income alone doesn’t meet the typical 2.5x to 3x rent requirement.

I’ve tried offering to show bank statements, provide proof of savings, and even offered to pay a few months upfront, but a lot of places either stop responding or still deny me. I also tried offering a co-signer, but some places said with a co-signer they’d require us to make almost 8x the rent combined, which seems insane to me.

Once I’m cleared to work again, I’ll have 2 jobs lined up, one full-time at $26/hr (40 hrs/week) and one part-time at $22/hr (around 20 hrs/week), so income won’t really be an issue much longer. I just feel stuck in this weird in-between phase right now.

Has anyone dealt with something similar or have advice on how to get around the income requirement temporarily? Smaller landlords? Anything else I should try?

Interview Attire

For one of my practical interviews I was told to show up in athletic professional attire. What should I wear ?

My everyday wardrobe consists of sweatpants and leggings, with sweatshirts and t-shirts, not really trying to buy anything.

edit: I can’t wear shorts due to scarring issues, I’m also a female

just wanted to update you on my recent post, they cancelled the order and are sending a full refund. if this ever happens to you, do NOT immediately dispute with your bank as that will delay the whole process. they also answered me faster in the portal than through email. and to the negative nancy’s who were talking crap, please go outside and touch grass some of you need help😂

Brello Refund ?

Has anyone had success in getting a refund from Brello. I completely forgot to pause my subscription due to me being in the ICU for two months, getting out for a month, and then having a hip surgery a couple days ago. I didn’t need anymore medication because I still have 2 months from my last order due to me needing to stop it while in the hospital and for my hip surgery. They took the money out of my account but then sent an email saying I needed to complete the questionnaire to complete my order. I obviously didn’t not do the questionnaire and sent about 2 emails and 3 other messages letting them know my situation. Also the address I have on file I’m not even at anymore and I don’t have a valid shipping address at the moment. When I log onto the portal it does say that it’s waiting for a practitioner to review and gives me a button to click that says “start visit“ which I’ve been using Brello for over a year and have never seen this message before. I’m hoping they will refund me as I’m drowning in $600,000 of medical bills and did not need to lose this $500 to medicine I’m barely taking anymore.

Had bad HS in armpits got surgery in 2018, gone no reoccurrence. came back full throttle in my groin area about 3 years ago, did everything. diet change, medication, hormones, vitamins. nothing worked so I opted for surgery. had surgery, spent 2 months in the ICU and had 3 procedures. everything heals great I’m released March 19th. I feel like my age again and not in pain. I don’t even need to take pain meds to get through my days. fast forward today I’m putting deorderant on, I notice a small bump (outside surgical area) on my armpit. here we fucking go again. 🙄
