noob question, how a manufacturer determines a lens is a specific f-stop when first created? is there an independent body confirming a lens is f/2.8 or f/1.2 or f4? do they test for light gathering or depth of field on a test subject?
thought of comparing a M43 300mm f4, to a full frame Nikon 600mm f4 on a "Medium-Format" Body. my main takeaway is shoulder pain. first three photos with OM, rest with the Nikon. I need to do more proper comparison
thought of comparing my OM 300mm f4 (OM-1.2) to my older Nikon 600mm f4 (GFX 100s II). I failed at a decent comparison the least bad photos attached. first 3 with OM.
