Finished the Jackdaw!

I went with the black sails, as the white sails were practically transparent unless in direct sunlight 9/10 for looks 7.5/10 for the building process

Mower Blade Removal Help

We have a 21" self propel mower and we can't get the blade off. We got it off about 3 years ago to sharpen it, and now we can't remove the bolt to remove it this time. We've tried everything (that we can think of) short of taking it to our automotive repair place to try using their pneumatic driver, or cutting it off

Converting from DC to DCC

I want to slowly start converting my inherited locomotive collection from DC to DCC. The collection started with my grandfather, so a lot of these trains are from as early as the mid 1950's.

What is a good decoder that should work on most, if not all, of these; as well a controller to maie them work?

It's an electric collection of steams, diesels, and some Doodlebugs/RDCs. Brands include mostly Bachmann and Athearn. We have about 40 units in running condition

They dont need to be super high-end decoders, just for moving and lights, we dont care about the sound too much.

Layout is currently wired for DC, but once we get some of them converted we'll begin to transition the wiring to be DCC

HO Scale

EDIT: thank you all for your help! Apparently my locomotives are fairly cheap, and not worth/not possible to convert to DCC, so I'll stick with DC for now

Cloud sheet help

So I followed the install guide both in the manual on on the YouTube video for my bedjet 3. I keep finding myself waking up in the night at least once if not twice to reattach the cloud sheet to the nozzle because I seem to keep pulling the sheet off. The clamps are not nearly strong enough to keep the sheet in place. Any suggestions?

How to do overlapping layers?

I'm using Curtain Lights model H70B1, and everything online and in the app says I can do overlapping layers, but I can't find it anywhere in the DIY settings. Please help?

Any idea on what this chopper is doing? They have been flying over my worksite for about 20 minutes now, going back and forth, making sharp turns and banking incredibly steep

Cooling down hot sleepers

So it's getting to that time of the year where I become very uncomfortable while sleeping (I change the sheets multiple times a week because of how much I sweat while sleeping in the summers)

I'm currently using a fan plus an air wicking blanket, which does help for a few hours, but it doesn't keep me cool the entire night.

I keep seeing ads for BedJets, but they have very few reviews on Amazon, plus a high price tag, but I'm looking for something along those lines, where it helps me actively stay cool through the night

Using wheels with the stalks

I'm currently using the TSW wheel with the multi-function stalks

I have ordered a CS V2P wheel to use with iRacing, can I keep the stalks installed, or do I need to remove them each time I swap wheels?
