I work on a commission structure based on my total sales plus tips. Lately, there’s been talk among staff that our salon's numbers and actual tips don't always match up with what gets reported back to us at the end of the month.

Before making any accusations, I want to keep a private, accurate record of every service and tip I take in.

For those in commission-based or service jobs, how do you track your numbers independently? Do you use a specific app, a custom iPhone/Android shortcut, or how?

Would love to hear what workflow works best for you so I can make sure I’m getting paid fairly without creating unnecessary drama. Thanks!

Booked through GetYourGuide with SuperCracow Tours. Their policy allows free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour, but the operator changed the tour time after that deadline had passed, leaving me stuck with a new time that didn’t work for me.

I contacted support and an AI agent flatly refused a refund, hiding behind a clause that lets them “change the time” whenever they want. That’s not good enough: if the operator changes the booking after the refund window closes, customers should not be penalized for cancelling. This feels like a deliberate loophole to avoid refunds, and it’s a shady practice.

Avoid this operator, and GetYourGuide should not be allowing this kind of policy abuse on their platform.

I have hiking spots where I live so not rly looking for long hikes, I would like to combine culture/sea, but I’m open to suggestions, thank you 🙏🏻

Hey everyone. After 20 years behind the chair, using the Wahl Magic Clip Cordless I think is time for me to look for a new clipper, the Magic it's like a second skin to me, for feel and cutting style. The only dealbreaker is how loud it is.

I’ve been using the Panasonic lately, but the clipper just feels totally different and the enjoyment isn't there.

Can anyone recommend an alternative that mimics the Magic Clip, but runs way quieter? I need a reliable workhorse for daily shop use. Budget is no problem
