Going around alone

I'm going with friends but we have different music tastes, so I will most likely be watching bands while they watch DJ sets. Does anyone have any experience going alone as its my first festival and I feel kind of stupid watching bands alone at a festival

Best android under $300-400 with good camera

Mostly looking for one that will take good videos and pictures in concerts. Are they all bad at this price or what can I expect?

Do you find slow and safe drivers annoying?

As a driver when I am sticking 1 or 2 below the speed limit and being extra cautions on the road I always feel like I'm being inconvenient to the person behind me, but when someone in front of me is doing it I like it as I don't feel pressure to keep up. Do you find it annoying?

I physically can't study

I am currently taking my A-Levels to decide if I am going to go to university. I've always been top of the class but the last 2 years have been really hard as I just can't revise. I've tried everything - short bursts, sitting at the textbook for hours, different types of revision, exam questions, changing subject, taking breaks, watching videos, making timetables/not maknig timetables - and after everything I still can't force my brain to sit and study while taking it in.

Foundation year

How bad is it to have to do a foundation year? I know there's obviously an extra year of paying for the course but are there any social or other impacts to be aware of?

Can I look in clearing before accepting my offer if I get it or does looking in clearing automatically decline my firm/insurance?

Why do people not take the indie/rock genre seriously?

Indie/rock is by far my favourite genre but I feel like it has a very cult following and most people I talk to about it don't take it seriously or laugh it off as 'indie shit'. I don't know if this is just an experience I've had but it's really frustrating when they listen to hip hop and rap and won't give anything else the time of day like I would to other genres. Does this come down to immature music snobbery or is it an actual thing that people don't like?

People who say an entire genre of music is bad just because they don't like it

I'm mostly into indie/rock/grunge/pop but I listen to a variety of genres to try and expand my taste and even if it's not my favourite I appreciate that it's just not for me. But I always find myself in conversations with people who will only listen to rap/d&b and will laugh at all the bands I like saying that kind of music is awful. If it was just banter I could laugh it off but I just don't understand how people can be so small minded to genuinely think that and it genuinely pisses me off every time.

Has ADHD prevented you from achieving your best in education?

If so how? I did well until 16 and now A-Levels are just ending me. I was always top of the class I guess naturally and now I'm scraping for E's/D's because I spent 6th from not being able to focus in lesson and now not being able to concentrate on revision.
