Indie/rock is by far my favourite genre but I feel like it has a very cult following and most people I talk to about it don't take it seriously or laugh it off as 'indie shit'. I don't know if this is just an experience I've had but it's really frustrating when they listen to hip hop and rap and won't give anything else the time of day like I would to other genres. Does this come down to immature music snobbery or is it an actual thing that people don't like?

I'm mostly into indie/rock/grunge/pop but I listen to a variety of genres to try and expand my taste and even if it's not my favourite I appreciate that it's just not for me. But I always find myself in conversations with people who will only listen to rap/d&b and will laugh at all the bands I like saying that kind of music is awful. If it was just banter I could laugh it off but I just don't understand how people can be so small minded to genuinely think that and it genuinely pisses me off every time.

If so how? I did well until 16 and now A-Levels are just ending me. I was always top of the class I guess naturally and now I'm scraping for E's/D's because I spent 6th from not being able to focus in lesson and now not being able to concentrate on revision.

I'm trying to revise for my A-Levels but today I've barely been able to get anything done, I'm probably going to get about 30 mins worth of work done in 4 hours. What do you do when you're like this? Every time I take a break I don't seem to be refreshed at all, just less locked in.

Is there another wave coming or have we got almost all of the line up now?

Are there actually any jobs out there for people with no experience? How do I get one

I'm joining UWE soon, how long are the buses to and back from the city centre/park street area?

I'm planning to take my digicam to a festival in a few months but it's really old and I'm worried the quality will be terrible. I want to recreate the kind of scenarios it would be (long distances, lights everywhere) does anyone have any ideas of practice shots to test how it copes?

My phone camera is completely useless but I want as much to remember from it as I can, are digicams allowed and is it worth bringing one into camping? Not sure how great the quality would turn out but still.

If I commute during my foundation year will I be able to go to accom with other first years in my first year of my actual course or will i get put with 2nd years?
