We gotta stop complaining about these nerfs yall. It will sound corny asf but was akande bitching around like we did? And we play him… we rlly were bitching around and not all of us but most of us.

The “vanguard role”
Even though it’s almost the same as the tank role but the vanguard is more active in brawling and diving as far as I know. So it’s a tank with dps foundations.

The only fun thing about from now are his rollouts.

This nerf is really a last straw for me and I might go back to cod again. If they don’t give him a rework after this season since we are near s4 then I might quit doom.

His hero isn’t fun anymore like I played him for the first time. I really had the most joy with doom when he was a dps. And I prob talk for the major of this community that that was the peak of doom.

I really hate block to the max and I don’t mean it because I’m a quakedon wanna be or something but I just want to make actual combos on this character.

I really refuse to play him with the punch bot style. Saying that he was inspired from street fighters but turning him into a bot character and doesn’t even give him street fighter content.

Am I the only doom main here who spended +200h on doom but never got a real diag kill?

The only diag kill I did was on dps doom or when I hit a diag then I won’t be able to secure a kill.
And I don’t mean that I don’t know the diag spots or I don’t understand how diags work and etc. since I know a lot of spots but it’s just the timing. I can do the flashy flick kills on tracers or doing flashy roll outs or combo kill widows really fast. But no diag kill… even when colosseo is my fav map I’ve never hit a diag on that map before.

Maybe one day…

My Theorie is that adeyemi is a punch bot because in akande’s view is that he relied too much on the gauntlet and is neglecting problems that is body took over the years of his conquests. Without the gauntlet adeyemi was nothing.

Akande defeated him through his weaknesses and became a Doomfist who wasn’t a punch bot. Who didn’t relied on his gauntlet all the time who did actual combos and martial arts with it.

Later until his last fight I noticed that he build some kind of ego that there is no one stronger than him that it didn’t matter that he was relying on his gauntlet only since nobody would beat him anyway.

After he woke up from the fall he realised that he blindly followed the path of adeyemi punchbot style. Thinking that nothing could beat him as long the gauntlet is on his side.
And that is reminding me about us how we play doom now days since uppercut got removed. Relying on just 1 ability 90% in every match and not that we choose to do it but we got forced to do it.

I hope he will get added in street fighter tho

It’s official now that he’s alive and he will probably get a rework after witnessing the new game mode and the new short story.

Also when you listen to the voice lines between sombra and soldier for example then you will hear sentences as if they are working together incognito. So it will make sense that we will get short story’s form widow and reaper how they are incognito.

In conclusion doom will be also be incognito for a while and working alone for a while and maybe he’ll build his own gauntlet since his family owns a prosthetic company but it can also be controlled by talon so it will be hard to build it there.

Now besides the story/theories. What I’ve noticed that dooms story videos have a really good sound-quality. The effects, the theme, the doom theme switching to vendettas sad theme when doom is broken, the voice acting of doom, the details man… it’s so beautiful and I cannot believe that they don’t make a ow cinematic series like arcane man…

I play sombra myself but I am more a doom main.

This version of sombra is the worst version that was ever created.
And I’m not saying that I’m frustrated that my whole kit got removed in a blink but sombra doesn’t require skill anymore like that.
I played sombra for the love of ragebait and she requires skill but this sombra is just bad.

The stealth is good but the virus/Hack ability is just a low skill ability that I can say that cass requires more skill than this version of sombra.

I saw a sombra who was really trash at her still brought a lot of value and impact. This can only be for characters like dva, orisa, Domina, etc.

I hope this version of hack ability will never be added to comp. But her stealth.

Donn can now emp all his abilities now. I haven’t tried it but can he slam cancel and still has emp?

Also I had an imagination that what if doom has the same uppercut tech like spiderman from mr?
Some people are familiar with his uppercut in a specific tech when he’s bunny hopping or swinging in a high speed that he can use uppercut and still be in the momentum instead like doom that for example when he’s super slamming and then is using uppercut that he will be stuck in the air instead of going with the momentum of his rollout.
