First-time luxury buyer – which Cadillac dealers actually have good service and fair financing?

I live near Lakeland and I’m finally ready to buy my first luxury car – probably a Cadillac XT5 or maybe a used Escalade. I’ve got decent credit but never financed a car this expensive before.

I keep seeing ads for big Orlando dealers, but honestly I’d rather drive 20 min to a smaller place if they don’t play games. Anyone have firsthand experience with a Cadillac dealer around Lakeland / Winter Haven / Lake Wales that has actual good customer service and will explain lease vs buy without pressure?

Also – do family-owned dealers usually have better rates or is that a myth? Thanks!

I’m in Texas, and I got absolutely played by WIS Straps.

Ordered a rubber strap for my son’s birthday gift: $65 with free shipping. They’re supposedly based right here in Texas, so I figured it’d show up quickly. Nope. Ten damn days later, it finally arrives… in a cheap plastic bag straight from China. Same exact strap you can buy on AliExpress for four bucks. Same everything. (Ali Store Name: Shop1103876565 Store, where you can find it for 4 USD)

The rubber feels sandy and cheap, like it’s loaded with who-knows-what chemicals. I opened it, touched it once, and immediately knew it was junk. Emailed them to return it, but they said no because it wasn’t “in original condition.” After three emails, they still wouldn’t budge.

Missed my kid’s birthday gift because of this garbage. Ended up filing a chargeback with Amex. Took 30 days, but I got my money back. Threw the strap in the trash where it belongs.

Influencers pushing this stuff must be on commission. Never again!
