i just spent the day watching some films with my brother and the last 2 films just....made me tear up.

We watches Digimon: Last Evolution Kizuna, which...just made me year the fuck up. I was there and the same age as Tai and Matt when it premiered here in the USA and...just hearing them say it's time to grow up and watching them cry over Agumon and Gabumon...it hit hard.

The other film was Millenium Actress which that ending made it the MC's journey seem pointless. I get she loved the journey but I can't stop seeing it from the other point of view. If it were me, I'd have been devastated if I wasted my life chasing someone who had been dead for decades.

Anyway, it was a great Sunday!!

I'm going to be DM'ing for my group in about 2 months or so. I've DM'd a couple one shots and CoS and it went pretty decent, though I realize I could have done some things better.

Is there any advice for running this for the first time? I'm obviously going to read the module, currently doing that now. Are there any recommended videos or guides to improve on things?

i just finished Leon's story but idk if I should click a 2nd run or new game with claire.

Does the story change or the difficulty?

I tend to play my characters well enough, but I wanna try out a voice, specifically a cockney accent. How I get into character doing it?

I am timid and have no doubt the accent will be bad. How do you get over that?

While I don't have kids of my own, I recently got Tomadachi Life for my niece and she is aboslutely loving it. She loves messing around and creating an army of miis to fill the island. I love showing her how things work and helping her draw some of the creations you can make.

This got me thinking back to when I looked forward to the weekends to play Mario World and All Stars with my dad when I was young and how I miss those simple days...

What memories do you have or are currently making?

I used to mod my pokemon back in SM because...I just didn't have the time to sit and breed/train for the pokemon I wanted. Everything I made was tournament legal, like there were no mons with moves or abilities they shouldnt have, and used those to play with friends or at my card shop.

I looked at my Sword data and saw a good chunk of those modded mons are still there. Would I be able to import them into Home/Champions/Violet and enter tournaments? If I had more time, I would be training...but between work, parenting, and personal responsibilities....There's only so much time lol

Side note, can I still upload pokemon from moon to home?

Side SIDE note....i miss all the free time I had during DP and BW....

Realistically, is there a legit reason why they don't?

I don't see a world where they will ever give some of my favorite pokemon either a new evolution/form/mega, so the only hope I see them having is having base stats upped.

They've increased Alakazam BST for it's Sp Attack from 85 to 95 in Gen 6....so why don't they do that for other weaker pokemon to give them a shot? Moves have had their power tweaked or just removed in some cases too.

I picked up the game after like...4 years and forgot how to do so. i have 4 characters with those stats and tried to raise a few others...but they didn't reach the cap.

I mastered all classes, gave them shards, reincarnated and releveled back to 9999 while in elite 4, but the max is 27,200,000. I also raised the aptitude to max as well.

What am I forgetting to do?

I'm having a hard time making a decent team. I used to build teams for battles back in BW and XY but it was never for competitive and it was always 6v6 when I played at my card shop.

Here, I'm having trouble making a team cuz of limited roster and I never know which 4 to pick. I more often then not just pick the same 4 and ignore the other 2 regardless of what my opponent has.

I have Pelipper, Toxicroak, Goodra, Dragonite and Inceneroar. My main strategy fake out with Toxicroak and then Drain Punch recoviring HP with rain, shed bell and Surf with dragonite.

Without having access to the other 2 pokemon...I don't know what to really do lol.

Any suggestions on how to make the team better, learn what to expect, or anything at all really? I made it to Ultra 3...and have been stuck there.
