Various Daylillies on a Chicago Stroll

So many gardens and untraditional yards in Chicago! Very refreshing, enjoyed my trip!

Who’s this beauty? - Georgetown, Washington D.C, U.S.A

Pictures taken in the beginning of May, I just scrolled past them in my photo gallery. Beautiful balls of pollen of some sort lol.

The iron worm >;)

Spotted in the District of Columbia, this is my second time seeing this bad boy. This big boy is a true American because…he is truly a big boy.

The girl has always loved a good bag

I miss when she was this little! She’s a teen now, my sweet girl. (Her name is Artichoke)

Ah yes, rebirth

I swear plants be looking so healthy and beautiful in Lowe’s and Home Depot and you bring those babies home to DIE. Luckily this baby is making her comeback.

King George, VA :))

I’ve always brought stuff home from the beach but I never actively called it beach combing. Had all of the fun in the world; at a family reunion! Met a cousin I never knew and we had a blast walking in the grey sky collecting things. He primarily collected honeysuckles, I grabbed whatever spoke to me.

A month and a half of the absolute cutest

We got them when they were a couple months old…my boyfriend got us kittens for my birthday :) I’ve never had a cat…or any independent mammal as a pet for that matter. Toni and Artichoke<3
We haven’t gotten them everything yet…but so far they’re adjusting to our junky apartment very well

A stroll around the decay

I see owners with decent sized properties in rural areas keep parts of the lands past up and abandoned whilst they use other buildings to house new life. Years ago I said it was tacky, today I find it really endearing. I can’t help but wonder what everything was used for and how much joy or pain was had in this place. King George, VA. Family reunion get together, I have little to no information on the land we were celebrating on. There’s a historic church on site.

My phone said these are rock Doves :3

I am not an adamant AI user but I think the feature on my iPhone that identifies plants, bugs and birds uses AI…which explains why it’s not always right 🙄 can someone confirm what these beautiful darlings are? I know that pigeons and doves are similar but not the same. I would assume are too big to be doves (?)

Geese in Georgetown <3

They were so pretty, they brought me much joy. It’s been a while since I’ve had the pleasure of seeing geese in water and not on a random sidewalk obliterated with their feces<3

Bird Doe in Arlington, VA

At work, one or two different birds flew into our store window twice. I didn’t see a bird after the first impact sound, but I did after the second :(

I’m pretty sure two different birds hit the window, but I have no way of knowing. This darling unfortunately died. She/he is so cute and tiny. I would love to know what type of bird this is. I see these often.
