I found a series of schematics of this dig. I know it had to do with the “Armenian Garden” but that is about all. Can anyone else help me understand more about this dig and what they discovered?

This trip was a huge amount of fun! The water was very warm, the swims were carefully planned and the support was always on hand. Hotel was terrific. I highly recommend this trip.
So this trip has been a blast. Yesterday we paid 100Euros to visit Stromboli. It was terrific, we watched it spew lava int the sky and watch it drip down the side of the hill. However, since we got up at 6 am for a 4km crossing, and did not get back to the hotel until after midnight, it was a hellish long day.
As for the swims: they have been a lot of fun, but, at 63, I find them long. We are getting beaten up. I normally do 6 km per week, and yesterday we did 3.5 km in morning, and 1.5 km in afternoon. So, if yo do this ramp up the volume….
Some of you folks were asking for updates so here goes: this is a swimtrek holiday on the island of Vulcano. I have no experience swimming in salt water. So day one we had an acclimation swim and I felt very uncomfortable. The water was very very salty, and it felt awkward and unfamiliar. Alien, you might say. I skipped the pm swim in order to climb the Vulcano. That was marvelous. Today we did 2.5 km swim across the channel from Vulcano to Lipari. That was a blast. Then we want for 1.5 coastal swim which was dead easy. The water is actually a bit too warm. All in all today was brilliant loved it.
The heat drains the energy right out of you! Be very modest in your plans bc you will need a lot of breaks. If you like history I really liked Segesta
It is with Swimtrek, and it will be swimming around the Aeolian islands. 2km in the morning lunch on the boat and 2km in the afternoon. I am mildly apprehensive, bc I have almost no experience in open water and none in the ocean. It’s not a race, and there will be a chase Kayaker, but still…
I will be doing 12 swims in 6 days. I don’t much care what I look like, but does salt water sting if you shave too close?

I am a hobbyist and mostly shoot architecture and monuments on holiday. I have a canon 7D mark 1, and a revel t3. I want a larger sensor so if I shoot the best pic ever, I can blow it up. I would like to spend 200$ Canadian, or be less. I was thinking about a canon 5? Any other full frames you can think of?
I mean, do you wear them to walk in on a rocky beach, or swim wearing them?
Just booked a flight to Sicily, and I got a decent price, but I am wondering what the industry trends are…I don’t think this is low effort, I truly don’t know where else to look.
Anyone else suffer from this? Obviously rest is the main thing, and I will see an MD, but what sort of time line am I looking at?
I am crazy for ancient history. I imagine Agrigento will be overrun with tourists, but Segesta or Selinute are smaller and, well, prettier. Any advice?
I am crazy for ancient history, and my feeling is that Agrigento is bigger, and more famous, but not quite a cute as either Segesta or Selinute. The last two will have fewer tourists I imagine. What do you folks think?
I bought a rash guard tee shirt at Walmart and tested it today. It was horrid. It was very loose, bunched up at my shoulders and when I pushed off, it caught the water and seemed to want to choke me! I could take the sleeves off, but is there anything else I can do?
