Ok so I only read 20K Leagues from Under the Sea and had to look up what The Mysterious Island is about so I will probably get some things wrong. Nemo was a former Indian prince called Dakkar who lost his family due to the efforts of the British colonial government, so he resolves the rest of his life to destroying any ships and vessels of the British Empire and emboldening the enemies of the colonial government with his plundered loot.

I couldn’t find the artist who made this piece of Danny artwork because I found it on Pinterest. My best guess is EqPrev or this DeviantArtist, MelakDX, due to the similar art styles.

The King of Pigs is an animated Korean film that deals with the bullying of three middle school boys. Between the three main characters: Jong-suk, Kyung-min and Chul, and the bullies that they face like Gang-min, Jung-hue and Seok-eun, there is a lot of evil in this film.

I know the drip in Japanifornia is wild but wouldn’t this be stolen valor? Is it some sort of symbolism thing? Also, hey new fan here! I got into the series because of the Objection lol videos but I spoiled myself with a lot of content because I didn’t know I would become so obsessed with it! New hyper-fixation yay!

I am surprised that VE hasn’t tackled Umbridge yet given that she is one of the most iconic evil characters and teachers to come out of fiction in recent memory. Granted it might be because of JK Rowling’s bigotry against trans people so that should get addressed or at least used as a vehicle for a trans charity video just to piss her off but I digress.

So, Umbridge is the worst character in the Harry Potter series, yes she is worse than Voldemort because at least Voldemort was a date rape baby due to his mom, Merope Gaunt, spiking the man who she was stalking, Tom Riddle’s drink with a love potion. Umbridge does all she can to make the students of Hogwarts miserable for the love of game. I might be misremembering the Pottermore info but I am pretty sure that she had her father disown her muggle mother and squib brother and then abandoned her father when he didn’t excel to her standards. She commits mass torture on children during detention sessions, doesn’t actually teach them anything during her classroom time, was willing to torture Harry to get information about Dumbledore’s whereabouts, she supremely racist against non-wizardkind, has muggle-born witches and wizards taken to Azkaban which is essentially a detention center and jail where they are tortured to the point of no return, the list goes on and on. I am cutting down a lot of other stuff for brevity sake but she is the worst: easy S+ tier.

Since it is close to a decade from when the game takes place, how do you think that Mae, her friends (and Germ) and Possum Springs have changed these past few years? Here are my thoughts on what I think they are doing:

Mae - Either works at a supermarket or goes around with Danny to work odd jobs again now that the economy is shit. Probably is dating Bombshell or something. Could have actually being diagnosed with what has been affecting her by an actual licensed psychiatrist and not Dr Hank.

Bea - took online classes for college and made her dad get therapy so he can start running the Ol’ Pickaxe again.

Gregg and Angus - Moved to Bright Harbor and still keep in contact with the old gang just less.

Germ - Probably is a tour guide about history or nature or maybe he is just off the grid

Lori - Goes to college for writing and ends up becoming a horror writer. Writes on AO3 in her pastime

Selmers - Rose up the ranks in that poet society and become chairwoman or something, I don’t know about poetry hierarchy.

Possum Springs - Is in a minor comeback boom after the workers unionized, maybe they got a grant or something by the local government

They could have chosen a more appealing wife for Stolas. Did they views her awful traits as strengths, put them together to keep the bloodline pure and non-inbred, do it on a whim or just to reinforce control onto Stolas? Now, I know that this could be something that gets discussed more in-depth in S3 but until then, I think we should pool around and talk about it.

I only watched the Backrooms movie so I am probably missing a bunch of context from the Kane Pixels lore. Is it like the Overlook Hotel and is simply a malevolent entity or is it something like Uzumaki where we don’t have info to discern anything about it other than basic details?

It doesn’t take a genius to realize that whatever plans he has will perpetuate the cycle of harm that the higher classes have and will continue to inflict on the lower ones. He is parroting the same Social Darwinist narrative that British imperialists, like Cecil Rhodes, bastardized from Charles Darwin in order to justify their colonialism. Not to mention that his continued targeting of I.M.P is hypocritical when he should band together and try to improve imps social and economic conditions. If people actually listened to what he says, what he is proposing will not benefit the majority, only the people who are traditionally strong and not strong in other fields like Moxxie but they don’t and only focus on a possible tragic past or his cowboy rizz. I will try to make a more explicit post about his “crabs in the bucket” tendencies at a later date.

Since VE hasn’t done a Stephen King villain in almost a year, I suggest he do the other major villain from Carrie: Chris Hargensen. Tbh, I can understand why he hasn’t done a video on her because Chris is kinda just a sadistic bully so you can’t really analyze much from her character but maybe it could be something like a charity stream for prevention of bullying. I could see Chris ending up in the A tier because her worst crimes (indirect mass murder and manslaughter) weren’t really planned and were rather due to the pig blood prank but she also did some pretty heinous stuff like nearly blowing up a disabled kid’s toes because she had a cleft lip and attempting to kill Carrie. Not to mention, she is a fundamentally warped individual, like Billy rapes her in the book and she gets off to that!

I doubt they will allow you to get the character rewards because money but they should at least give you to option to complete the side quests.

Personally, I think it could be something crazy like Barbie Wire overdoses and Blitz finds her corpse or one of the cast’s permanently loses a limb.

They appear in probably every episode of the Pokemon anime (I only was able to watch S1 because Netflix took everything else off outside of the XYZ anime) and in every movie, are in a couple of games, have manga appearances, and are comedy villains. Where would they even go, the meme tiers?!

Did y’all think it was mutually toxic like George and Martha from Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf or do you thought that they only got married to keep up appearances within their community like Clay and Bloberta from Moral Orel?

I mean, these guys aren’t exactly well loved within the caste system of Hell so who is to say that the lower classes won’t pull a Cultural Revolution* and eliminate the Ars Goetia.

* If you don’t know what the phrase “Cultural Revolution” means: It was the 10 year period of ideological chaos which began in 1966 and ended in 1976. Mao Zedong used his wife’s ability to whip up the mob in order to shore up support after the failure of The Great Leap Forward, which lead to an estimated 15 to 55 million people dying of famine. Intellectuals like teachers and professors were denounced and made to endure struggle sessions or forced to swallow nails and glass. I can’t explain the entire chaos because it is so large and complex but essentially it was a hell on earth.
