How you can find deep passionate love.

It isn't some secret, in fact most of you already know it but many ignore it prioritizing other things like appearance, or finances or learning how to court but although these things are important, they pale in comparison to having great character and personality .

Think about it.

If your spouse solely loves you for your appearance, then what happens if it fades away? What happens if your spouse finds someone that looks better?

The same goes for finances, do you want a spouse that solely loves you for your money?

Learning how to court your spouse has its benefits but it can easily backfire if done incorrectly. Some people who have authored books on how to court women ended up single and alone.

They knew how to attract women, but they couldn't keep a woman.

That's because they spent all their time trying to be "player" and no time learning how to be a husband.

What that means is they lacked character and personality.

If someone falls in love with your character and personality it means they love your values, your behaviors and your reputation, your way of thinking, and your quirks.

This kind of love has a much stronger foundation.

But how do we attain that kind of character and personality.

We have the prophet ﷺ as an excellent example of what good character and personality looks like. So compare yourself to them and see what you have to work on.

Also, make sure the spouse you're looking for is like minded.

The advice here may seem obvious to many but sometimes the most important advice loses its reverence because of how obvious it is.

Lastly, the goal of this advice is not to dissuade people from working on their appearance or their finances or learning how to court but rather it's to remind you to also focus on your character and personality.

My dear brothers and sisters please avoid making jokes about our religion.

It's become increasingly common for both Muslims and non-muslims to make jokes about our religion.

But this opens the doors to much more offensive jokes and it causes people to not take our religion seriously.

Additionally, joking about our religion can cause you to become a disbeliever.

[See surah Tawbah 65-66](https://quran.com/at-tawbah/65-66)

We've seen the "say wallahi" meme. But those who lie while saying wallahi are plunging themselves into sin which can lead to the hellfire.

Lastly when Muslims say "inshallah" it's supposed to mean that you're 100% going to do something, not a way to avoid saying "no".

So please, brothers and sisters, when we talk about our religion, we must give it the reverence it deserves. Allah is the king of kings and deserves that highest level of respect.

This is advice for both you and most of all myself.

Me watching my friend who's genetic freak decide not to do sports

Lemme explain.

My buddy, we'll call him Copper.

He's built like a panda but runs like a cheeta. I couldn't believe it, at 300+ lbs this guy was burning out athletes.

By athlete, I don't mean elites but people who are in great shape and play sports. Which is still impressive.

I've never seen him lose a race and this is WITHOUT training.

So I took Copper to the gym and he immediately was benching 135lbs and was about to reach 225lbs within two months but then he told me was no longer interested.

He had no aspirations for sports.

I was disappointed.

This must've been what Vegeta was feeling when he saw Gohan slack off on his training.

I understand, everyone should do what they want in life but I can't help but wonder what could have been.

As much as this opinion sounds good on paper, there's a big problem OP and a lot of people fail to realize.

First no hate to OP at all.

There's a growing sentiment in the anime/manga community that because fans spend their time and money supporting an author's work, the author is obligated to listen to their criticism, with some even believing that the author must cater to their audience's demands.

But one big issue the consumer fails to realize is that most often times the people who are the most vocal about a story aren't always the target audience.

This may sound strange since you are actively consuming that content and would think you're a part of the main target audience but that's not always case.

Eiichiro Oda has said that most of the fan letters he gets are from women despite the fact that he writes a shounen meant for boys between the ages of 12 - 18. He disregards a lot of that feedback focusing more on what his target audience would like.

Sometimes criticism can be conflicting. Like, one fan saying the story is too slow, while another say its too fast or the author gets praised for a creative decision while others criticize it and want it removed.

Ex: I dislike Gear 5 and wish Oda dropped it. But I also acknowledge that most of the fanbase love it, so I can see why Oda would keep it.

Rifujin is a highly successful author, his target audience loves his story and wouldn't want him to change it. Mushoku Tensei explores controversial ideas and that's part of what people like about it.

Yes, no one is above criticism, and everyone has their flaws but its better for an author to seek help from another professional than a fan who might not be representative of his entire target audience.

I didn't know Miles Teller was in the movie. I died when I saw him

Even if it was stupid, I was begging for a scene like the following to happen.

MJ: I don't know what to name this album, y'know, it needs to be something thrilling.

John Branca: Say that again!

So I heard when writing a novel, having a flashback in the first chapter is bad but are there situations where it can be good?

My first chapter starts with the mc finding himself in a peculiar situation and he doesn't know exactly how he got himself into this situation, so we flashback with the mc trying to piece together what happened to him. Do you think a flashback in this scenario would be good?

My story has two main characters. Any advice on how to balance both povs?

I'm writing a body swap story where 2 characters swap bodies and adjust to their new lives.

I have an idea of how I want to do things, but I'm worried about falling into pitfalls like readers wanting to see more of character A instead of character B or perhaps other things that I'm not thinking of.

Any advice, please and thank you.

I can speak to an Egyptian, I can speak to a Saudi but I cannot speak to an Egyptian and Saudi at the same time.

So I'm an MSA learner and although I wasn't trying, I ended picking up some of the dialects I hear. Because of that I can understand a lot of what is being said to me.

But when two ppl with different dialect speak to me at the same time it's like my brain is being hammered.

It's because I have decipher what is being said and render it in MSA in my head and doing that twice is brain breaking.

I feel like I'm playing two games at once. Or I'm driving two cars.

It's an interesting feeling like a needle being driven into your head.

The worst part is they think you don't speak any arabic.

I do...

But I need like 25min to proccess what I just heard 😭😭😭

Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad, I just need to vent.

When it comes to taking care of your parents, I heard y'all were the best, so I'm looking for advice.

I'm a revert from the West and if you've seen any Western TV Shows/Movies then you should have an idea of how kids treat their parents.

So after accepting Islam, I was made aware of the importance of treating your parents well and I've made a lot of improvements, however i know I can always be better.

So I wanted advice on how you take care of your parents so I learn from you and apply.

Fellas what should I order?

Wasn't expecting JJK my McDonald's lol. I also read Fuga as Futa and bought it.

Edit:

So I grabbed Fuga drink and the Yami Yami sauce

The drink was amazing, it was kinda like a fruity lemonade

I'm assuming they used sprite, frutopia and lemonade and maybe a hint of ice tea but I'm not sure.

The Yami Yami sauce was trash 🤮🤮🤮

It tasted like A1 steak marinade but worse. Don't know what they were cooking.

I would've grabbed the domain expansion meal but the Mini Asian chicken sandwich is the best sandwich of today not even exaggerating.

So I'll grab DE meal next time.

So I just assume that spelling bees aren't a thing in the arab world

I can't think of a word that is spelt differently than how it's pronounced aside from maybe مائة but spelling it as مئة is also acceptable so that doesn't count.

Me spending months trying to come up with a cool mc just for everybody to like a side character I barely put any effort into.

I don't know how this keeps happening. So, I'm currently stockpiling and I showed my friends my story with the hope they'd like my mc. And most people did but a side character who i came with in just a few seconds gets all the love and attention.

I'll take this as a bittersweet compliment.
