Ive only worked on PCs, but I applied to a job posting and they are a MAC shop.

What are some questions that the technical interviewer might ask?

An attorney has a court filing deadline in 20 minutes and their laptop won't connect. What do you do?

I asked chatgpt for questions that a job I applied to might ask, and the above was one of the questions that it came back with.

Here is what is in my head:

1. Make sure wifi is on
   1a. restart pc

1b. Make sure VPN is connected

1c. Look at AD account to make sure account is not locked out

2. Make sure airplane mode is off / turn on for 10 seconds and turn off

3. make sure correct ssid and password are used

4. Forget network and select correct ssid and enter password

5. Run network troubleshooter

6. netsh int ip reset

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

7. try an ethernet connection if available

Is there anything I am missing? I am assuming the laptop either won't connect to the VPN or Wifi/ethernet.

Im hoping someone on this subreddit might be able to answer.

A job I applied to requires a check for a public trust clearance.

Would a Marijuana charge from 25 years ago prevent me from passing the background check?
