Hi there! I'm very close to releasing the demo of my first VN Carmilla : Crimson Moon.
Yaay! (So scared, so so scared :) )

Before I release it on itch and Steam, I was hoping that 4 or 5 people (please!) play it and test for bugs, vibes and all that. The demo length is around 30 minutes.
Two major caveats :

1. CGs are still being drawn so you will see placeholders there. Sorry :(
2. I am still working on the menu below the dialogue boxes.

Would you be interested? You will have to answer around 10 questions (not more than that... promise). I will share a google form with the questions.

Questions like:

1. How long did you take to complete the demo?
2. Could you connect with Carmilla and Laura emotionally?
3. Did you think a particular scene or set of dialogues felt awkward and/ or unnecessary?
4. Did you get bored at any point of time and feel like stopping?
5. Did you feel like the choices had weight?

I will have the playtest version out by Friday, with those caveats so you might have to find time during the weekend to play it.
I don't have much to give but I would love to include your name as a playtester in the final game. If you allow it, of course.

Hi! I'm making a visual novel called Carmilla : Crimson Moon based on the original novel from 1872. It has strong gothic influences! I'm currently using a generic font across the visual novel. (seen in the picture).

But I would love to use a font which evokes that gothic vibe. The problem with a lot of beautiful fonts is they are difficult to read for a long time. I think Almendra might work (shared a sample). But I would love to get recommendation from this subreddit. I do think I have come to the perfect place on the internet :)

My main conditions are :
a) Easy to read over long periods of time
b) Inspire a gothic vibe
c) Free for commercial use (I'm a solo indie gamedev. Please have mercy :) )
