(Spoilers) so as we know, Marilyn conspires with her boyfriend to murder her husband. They agree that when the deed is done, he will have the bell tower play their song.(Kiss) Indeed Marilyn later hears the bell tower playing the song, and assumes that her husband is now dead. As we know, that didn’t happen. So my question is, how is it that the tower bells ring anyway? Certainly the boyfriend didn’t reveal the plan. I think the writer screwed up. Any thoughts?

Edit: just to be clear, I wasn’t looking for people to guess. I was hoping that someone was aware of the script and plot and could reveal to me where in the story this makes sense.

Film noir surprise with William Talman as an earnest police officer and Ray Collins as District Attorney. Also stars noir stalwarts, Robert Mitchum and Robert Ryan. Worth a watch.

In my binging of the series I note that Barbara Hale does not appear for several episodes in the middle of season 7. Anyone know why she’s absent?

So this morning I let the dogs out as normal. Went back inside to wash my face and when I returned, I noticed that my two year-old was face-to-face with a young Fox. We have a Fox den on our property so it is not unusual to see them occasionally. However, this time the two of them seemed curious about each other. There was no physical contact but they got within a foot of each other, sniffing, bobbing their heads, etc. this went on for 2 or 3 minutes. Fox could’ve left if he felt threatened but decided to stay. Seem to be very curious about my young 2 year old mix who is roughly the same size - about 15 pounds. How concerned should I be about a friendly fox? I understand that foxes do not attack dogs normally, but had some thoughts about the foxes mother or do foxes carry disease that I need to concern myself with. Anyone who have such encounters?

Not sure who is watching GMFB this week, but he has been really solid. Both in defending the 49er badge with top 10 list omitting Purdy and Evans among others. He’s also been really solid with his analysis and a bit of a contrarian and challenged some of the common takes on top players. Way to show up big, Donte.

BTW: the mods for r/GMFB are worthless. Dead sub.

Solano County votes Blue!

Took an Uber today. Very little was said on our 30 minute ride. What bothered me was that my driver sat and stayed in the left lane on the freeway going 65 while literally dozen of car passed on the right. This is 2 lane freeway so definitely messing up traffic. Then we merged on to the 5 lane monster freeway and he does the same thing. Rolls across 4 lanes and parks us in the left lane. I kept my head down and mouth shut but could only think to myself that this is the same clown that I would honk at and flip off any given day. When the ride ended, I just couldn’t bring myself to tip him.
