So with the current prices of gas being high, I've been contemplating running a lower grade of fuel instead of the usual 93 octane. Those of you who also own the 25 GT, have you experimented with lower octane fuels? If so, what grade did you run, and how did the car behave while doing so? I already know that with turbocharged vehicles you want to run the highest grade possible for optimal performance, but being that the car is just a daily cruiser I am wondering how it will act on something like 87 octane once the ECU senses it and stabilizes. I'm expecting performance to likely be somewhat sluggish, but not to the point where the car can't get out of its own way.

Pulled these from one of my totes to enter into Die Carz today. I believe the Soarer was the most recent one that I bought, so it was at the very top of the tote. The rest of them I had either forgotten about, or haven't seen in a few years. I stopped buying them once the prices got to what they are now, unless an absolute must have comes along. I hate that all they do is sit in a tote because they just take up to much room to display.

So, I have had this thing for a little over a year and I want to finally take the time to "NOT" recommend it to you guys. For it's small size this thing is extremely, and unnecessarily loud. Also, it takes forever to fill completely before it shuts off. I'm talking over 10 minutes, for only 3 gallons. I bought it as a replacement for my smaller airbrush compressor and the only benefit is that I have more air, and more consistent pressure. I can however, highly recommend the HF Ranger foldable earmuffs pictured above that I was forced to drive all the way back to HF and buy, so that I can tolerate being in the same room as this thing. My McGraw 21 Gallon compressor is quieter than this thing!
