Title: TLOU2 – “No Installed Graphics Card Detected” in CrossOver 26.3

I’m trying to run The Last of Us Part II Remastered (TLOU2) through CrossOver 26.3 on my Mac, but I keep getting the attached “No installed graphics card has been detected” error. The Last of Us Part I runs fine through the same CrossOver/Steam setup, so the issue seems specific to Part II. I’ve verified the game files in Steam, restarted the CrossOver bottle, tried both Auto and D3DMetal graphics settings, kept MSync on with DLSS and High Resolution Mode off, and also tested ROSETTA_ADVERTISE_AVX=1, but the error remains. I also tried DXMT, which instead reports that DirectX 12 support is not detected, so D3DMetal appears to be the correct backend. The game is installed on an external SanDisk SSD and Steam recognises the installation correctly.

Mouse Y-axis inverted in CrossOver fullscreen/borderless mode

I'm having a strange mouse issue with CrossOver on macOS and wondering if anyone knows a fix.

I'm playing The Last of Us Part I through Steam using CrossOver, and my Logitech G502 X Lightspeed works normally in windowed mode, but when I switch to borderless windowed or fullscreen, the vertical mouse input breaks.

The issue:

  • Moving the mouse down makes the camera look down normally
  • Moving the mouse up also makes the camera look down
  • Left/right movement works correctly

The in-game invert Y-axis setting is disabled.

Things I've tried:

  • Different resolutions (3200×1800, 2560×1440, etc.)
  • Windowed vs borderless/fullscreen
  • Turning Raw Mouse Input off
  • Enabling/disabling "Automatically capture mouse in full-screen windows" in CrossOver
  • Disabling MSync
  • Switching macOS ProMotion to 60Hz
  • Checking Logitech software/settings

The strange thing is that the mouse works perfectly in windowed mode at the exact same resolutions. The issue only appears when switching into fullscreen-style modes.

Has anyone experienced this kind of broken vertical mouse input with CrossOver/Wine? Any ideas for a fix would be appreciated.

The last of us pt 1 on a MacBook M4 pro using crossover?

I have a M4 Pro (14-core CPU, 20-core GPU, 48GB RAM, 512GB SSD), has anybody tried running the last of us part one with a similar build?

It feels like every week I log into LinkedIn I see another post like this.

I was only a runner for a year before leaving the VFX industry, but I really feel sympathy for the staff when I see this happen.

Too soft to bulk, but no muscle to cut. 74kg, 5’10

I’m in an awkward middle ground.

Does this approach look like a sensible path to my goal physique?

I’m 5’10, 74kg, 18% (estimate) and currently cutting at around a ~400 kcal deficit, losing roughly ~0.5% bodyweight per week, while running an upper/lower split 4x per week, consistently hitting protein targets, and averaging 7–8k steps daily with regular weigh-ins. I’m self-coaching using MacroFactor since I can’t afford a coach, so I’m trying to stay as structured and consistent as possible. My plan is to continue cutting down to ~68–70kg (or basically the point where I look lean enough in the mirror to start a gaining phase), then move into a long, slow surplus (~200 kcal) for 6–9 months to build muscle steadily. I’m wondering if this two-stage approach is a solid, efficient path toward my goal physique, or if someone at my stage would typically structure things differently. If you’re more experienced, I’d also be interested in what you would’ve done differently at my stage.

Is recomp at maintenance really as bad as Reddit says?

Is recomp at maintenance as bad as Reddit makes it out to be? I’m around 17–18% body fat and still relatively underdeveloped in terms of muscularity, so I don’t clearly fit the typical “cut” or “bulk” categories. From what I’ve read (e.g. RippedBody and other sources), I seem to fall into the recomposition-at-maintenance group, but most Reddit forums online say recomp is slow or ineffective. I’m curious if anyone here has actually taken the maintenance + high protein + progressive overload route and made solid progress in both muscle gain and fat loss over time, rather than cutting or bulking in phases.

Experiences with recomping at maintenance instead of bulk/cut cycles? (Spinning wheels)

I’m in a bit of a physique limbo and wondering if anyone here has been in a similar position. I’m around 75kg and probably above 15% body fat, so part of me feels like I should cut. But the last time I cut to around 70-71kg, I didn’t really look much leaner or more muscular, just flatter, probably because I didn’t have enough muscle underneath yet.

At the same time, I don’t think a proper bulk makes sense either, because I already feel close to 20% body fat and don’t want to push that higher. You can also probably tell from the progress photos that between the different stages I haven’t actually made much progress and have basically been spinning my wheels.

I train hard, track macros consistently, and understand nutrition/training well, but in terms of actual muscular development I’m still more of a beginner.

I’m considering just eating around maintenance to keep weight stable whilst training hard, instead of dedicated bulk/cut cycles. Has anyone had good results doing this? Did progress feel too slow or was it sustainable and worthwhile long term?

How far should I take this cut?

I’m 5’10”, 24 y/o, 74.5 kg. I’ve been using MacroFactor for my cut and have been losing around 0.7% of bodyweight per week. I’ve made good progress so far and have definitely lost fat, but I’m still holding some around my abdominal area and feel like I’m still lacking noticeable muscle mass.

I’m now at a bit of a crossroads. My original goal was to cut down to around 68–70 kg, but I’m not sure if that’s still the right move or if I should change direction sooner.

I work for a small production company where I currently handle both editing and colour grading entirely in Premiere Pro. We’re now looking into switching our grading workflow over to DaVinci Resolve, as the general consensus seems to be that it’s the industry standard for colour and offers a much more advanced toolset.

I was wondering how common it is in practice for people to edit in Premiere and then move into Resolve just for grading. Is this a standard workflow in production companies, or are most people either staying fully in Premiere or moving the entire pipeline into Resolve?

If this isn’t the typical approach, what does a more standard post-production workflow look like in your experience?

Hey everyone,

I posted here a little while ago asking for feedback on our website and got some really helpful responses, so thank you to anyone who replied before.

We’re now getting close to launching our rebrand. I work at a video production company and we’ve redesigned the site to feel more cinematic and portfolio-driven.

Before we go live, I’d really appreciate any final thoughts and feedback, whether that’s design, UX, loading speed, clarity of messaging, or anything that feels off.

(Note: our third testimonial is currently blank as we’re planning to receive it soon.)

Site: https://krantzcreative.co.uk/

Trying to push it towards a more “production company” feel, so any thoughts (good or bad) would genuinely help.

Thanks again 🙏

Hi guys,

I work for a small video production company, and we’re currently going through a full rebrand, including a new name, a new website, and a shift in positioning as we aim to attract higher-end commercial clients and more premium production work.

We’re now at the stage where I'd really value some external feedback on the new website, specifically from people with experience in design, video production, branding, or agency work.

We’re trying to make it feel more polished and premium, so any honest feedback on what’s working, what feels off, or what might be holding it back would be hugely appreciated.

If you’re open to taking a look, feel free to comment and I’ll send over the URL.

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help.
